    At the heart of the great Snow Village sits Hyouden Castle, a great fortress chosen to be the Yukikage's fortress. Archeologists discovered its ruins almost by accident while the construction of the new ninja village was already underway.   • ::- The Great Snow Village -::
    Yuki was discovered and exhumed from its icy tomb ages ago upon its conception. It seems that the ancient people of the village were killed by a freak avalanche caused by a volcanic eruption in the now dormant mountain that stands above the village. Now the Village Hidden in the Snow serves as the military defense center of the Snow Empire. Training its elite Ninja, Guards, Police and the elite Archers that each play their role in defending the Snow Country's cities and borders.

    Outside the walls of the major cities, the Snow Empire boasts a variety of climates and landscapes. From the frozen glacial desert of the north, to the deciduous rain forest in the south, the four provinces are fun to discover for those who can keep their wits about them. Wild beasts of primitive and dangerous proportions loom in the corners of even its most barren wastelands, and the criminal elements are almost free to roam anyplace that is secluded from civilization.

    Yama no Kokoro, the remnants of Mount Kumo that now house the heart of the Cloud Empire's governing bodies. The carved out castle-city serves as the command and control hub for the village's expanding empire over the Land of Lightning. It is here where all official events and major decisions are made that will ultimately affect the future of the village and the shinobi that serve it. The city-state also serves as a cultural hub, housing within it's narrow streets and high walls bazaars and street markets alike. Within this mountain turned citadel that the people and shinobi who define the Cloud Empire dwell and actively carve out its future.

    Although the Cloud Empire's reach stretches across nearly all of the Lightning Country it's heart and soul can be found in three particular realms of influence. Beginning with Taka Jiin far to the north, Mura no Kyusai on the jagged coast, and ending with Bushido no Yosai lying in the valleys of the heartland. It is in these three historical locations upon which the Hidden Cloud Village began it's ascent to the empire it is now.

    The Land of Lightning plays home to a number of environments birthed from the nature of its mountainous climes. Perhaps some of the most noted geographical features however are the ones found here. From the caverns of the Ryuujin clan bored into the sides of mountains to the mystical Chiroptera forest and the long, winding routes of the Great Trade Road.

    Soragaran, or Sky Temple was the beginning of this grand village. It is now the center in which all ninja training takes place. It is here where all things involving Ninja take place. An Academy was created within the compound, as well as a building for the purpose of sending full fledged ninja out on missions. It is here that the children of the country are taught the history of thier nation. They are taught to be brave and couragous just like the Gryphon that symbolizes thier nation.

    Soragakure is a massive city built within the center of a gaint floating country. Unlike any other village, it is one based on technology. So while it takes up the a Hidden vilalge role, it is far from being actually hidden. One could get lost within this vilage for days if they were not familiar with it. Towering buildings span into the sky with hundreds of bridges and roads connecting every inch of the village.

    Located far to the east is this terrible and hostile land. The people here have become savage and live in a world with nothing of the peace that other nations take so greatly for granted. The land here is not for those iwth the mind to take a casual stroll. The land is laced with marshes and swamps, which house creatures more horrific then some can imagine. It is here that a gaint Demon Ninja Army has been formed in secret, amd were a war that other nations choose to ignore will be waged.
