Lake Iji is a rather large lake that is known to be inhabited by rather large alligators, which are very infamous - there can be no doubt to their source. Vicious creatures lurk beneath the surface in this lake and several other small ones, such as Sharkbait Lake and Chi Pond. To the north of the village are several valleys within the mountain range, containing vast forests of ash and elder trees. The area is known for their big cats, such as Lynx and Bobcats, as well as large prey animals such as deer and caribou. Snow often litters the ground in higher altitudes. To the east and south are vast plains fading into more mountains and deserts, tall grasses giving a home to savannah animals such as lions and giraffes.

Lake Iji
This place is not for the weak of heart or a delightful vacation spot to take your family because you can be sure that your whole family will not come back intact to this wicked place. A dangerous lake filled with various creatures that will eat you whole the second you thread close to the water. Forbidden entry for civilians and genin was issued but security isn’t as tight as the Kage would like it to be due to the heavy security of the village so from time to time some unfortunate kid’s bodies are found in the waters, or at least what remains of them.

Outer Mountains
To the north of the village are several valleys within the mountain range, containing vast forests of ash and elder trees. Surrounding these big forests lay various dormant volcanoes and few still active ones that have been handled with by expert elemental ninjas to keep their activity to a minimum. The area is known for their big cats, such as Lynx and Bobcats, as well as large prey animals such as deer and caribou. Snow often litters the ground in higher altitudes, covering the summits of the great volcanoes of the region.

Pale Savannah
To the east and south are vast plains fading into more mountains and deserts, tall grasses giving a home to savannah animals such as lions and giraffes. Do not try to push your luck as these animals are protected and it has become strictly forbidden for them to be hunted, pending even execution in the worst of cases. Because of size of the territory however several outposts have been set up each watching over a certain region and of course serving as protection for the lost lambs that stumbled upon this dangerous place.
