The Azure Vein

The Azure Vein is a tower rising out of the underwater village that is being built under the current capital city. It functions as an elevator, to and from the underwater city. At the base, there exists a large structure within from whence scrolls and the like are carried, holding reports for village exclusive jutsu, census, mission listings, and the like. It serves as the administrative building for the country; it is connected by underground tunnel to Umigakure.

  • Library Within Nowhere
    The Library within No-where is the official Kirigakure library. The room itself has fuuinjutsu placed on the walls, so as to hide the appearance of the walls and the rest of the structure itself when one is within, as if they are sitting on the ocean floor itself. The library has several books, including lists of Kirigakure exclusive techniques, and many other things worthy of keeping within a library. The library has copies of everything in both scroll and book form.

  • Mission Tower
    The Mission Tower is a small beam running up the length of the Azure Vein. In the center of the building, it transports scrolls throughout the building fast - from one side to the other in a few seconds. This is used primarily for giving out missions and the like, as they can either be sent to the shinobi if they are in the Azure Vein, or the mail room to send it to the shinobi. Also, anything of MAJOR importance that would need to be sent out to the civilians instantly is also transported via this method. From the main tower, lies three son towers that branch into it, allowing more then one person to receive a message at once.

    In a small "basement" beneath the Azure Vein, there is a small library, which unless you knew it was there, would be pretty hard to find. The room's floor, walls, and shelves are all made from a special ice - deep frozen to the point that not even fire would melt it. In this library, sits books outlining the entire history of Kirigakure.
