Kraken's Heart

Kirigakure has for a long time been a village that prided itself on it's cities, while primarily they were made for the purpose of defending attack in the time of war, they still became a theme in Kirigakure's development. As the abilities of shinobi have grown in recent years, the village has proposed a replacement for it's once beloved capital city. Underneath the city itself lies another city, deep below the ocean itself, protected by the depths it hides within. Untill recently, it had been kept secret by the ruling powers of Kiri. Valhalla, the current capital and above ground city rests in mainland Kirigakure, with the underwater under construction city below it.

  • Umigakure
    Umigakure is the title given to the new city under construction below Kirigakure's mainland. A massive structure, it has only recently been open to the public. A massive cave like fixture has been carved out of the side of the underground mountains that form the islands of Kiri itself. A large wall of cold plasma has been crafted, and covers the cave. With the water drained out, a large tunnel was built to connect it to the surface, where most construction workers use to access the city. Primarily built with a new metal that has been discovered deep within Iwagakure, in a trade with the land of rock, Kiri has a huge quantity of it laying around. This metal glows an ethereal blue in the absence of unfiltered sunlight, giving the entire city a never ending light source and ever constant blue tinge. The majority of the city is completed, however it is being polished and finished before being proclaimed the new capital.

  • Valhalla
    Valhalla has become overcrowded and poorly taken care of in recent times. The former has caused the creation of Umigakure, the latter because of shifting budgets to Umigakure as opposed to Valhalla. Also in recent times, Valhalla has been separated into two sections; the industrial district has moved further out from the city itself, closer to the shafts that go into Umigakure. The district now more used for civilian purposes is still crowded and cramped, however like all big cities, it carries both the worst slums and beautiful masterpieces of craftsmanship, the deciding factor being how much bank you make.

  • Port Town
    Port Town is a small brother village to Valhalla. Unlike Valhalla, which is located on the center of mainland Kirigakure, Port Town, while located on Mainland Kirigakure, is on the coast. This is the single largest port in all of the world. At any given moment, there are easily ten boats going off to each country in the ninja world. The city has no true "houses" - merely a large fleet of house boats. A city focused on business, if you don't have money, you are nothing. Because of it's economic power, this city houses the best hotels and biggest casinos in all of the shinobi world.
