Rice Country

The Rice Country is more than its signature rice fields and massive forests. It is the largest grain exporter and is filled with dangerous jungles, hidden springs, unexplored caves, and a sprinkle of hidden treasure buried along its coast and in its forests. The Rice Country is a beautiful nation still recovering from the Great Shinobi war. It is slowly gaining influence over neighboring countries as the Otogakure shinobi expand their services to a broader range of nations.

  • Ruins of Old Otogakure.
    A city that once stood tall, now brought to ruins. The village was brought to destruction upon the sudden and unexpected release of the Expiremental Beasts that were being stored beneath the village. Some say it was because of the sudden drop in the strength of Oto's Military Forces, that lead to the break out of the beasts. It didn't take very long for the destruction to spread across the entire village. Through the efforts of the remaining ninja however, much of the populace had excaped. Now the village stands as a place for only the strongest to dare travel into.

  • Taki no Kune [Waterfall Country]
    A village that once held the title of one the the Great 8 Ninja countries, until a great storm wreaked havoc on it's lands. While the majority of the military force was incorporated into other village's, the country itself was adopted by Oto. Negotiations between Oto and Taki were easily held and rexolved by the Daimyo's of each country. It has been a few years since the fall of Takigakure. Within this time much of the reconstruction has been resolved. Village's rebuilt, and the people have slowly been flowing back in. However the strength of Taki's military ninja has yet to return,, and as such they relay upon the forces of Oto to help defend thier land.

  • Shu no Kuni | Tsume no Kuni [Neck and Claw Country]
    Neck country. A country that lays at the center of 5 bordering coutnries. Rice to the East, Claw to the North, Fire to the South, and Taki to the West. While it harbors a military force. It does not support a ninja village. It only has one structure of importance, Kubisaki Castle. A great castle that is a mystery, however the treasures that are housed within it are protected without hesitation by it's people.
    Claw Country, the most nothern country in the Oto alliance of countries. There was once a war fought between it and Fang country which lies east of Rice. It was once resolved, however under unknown circumstances the war has once again ignited. It was at that time the Claw Daimyo allied with Oto, simply to strengthen it's military force as it just like Neck lacked any Ninja village.
