Kyo Seika wrote:Name of Character: Kyo Seika
Name of Demon or Spirit: Seika: The Phoenix
Location of the Seal: On both arms
Demon/Spirit Gender: Male
Demon/Spirit’s Age: Over 1,000 years
Looks: Seika takes the form of a giant bird, resembling a phoenix, completely smothered in flames. The flames take the color depending on where there is a strong heat source. The outer part of his body is engulfed in red flame, but as the flames near his heart, they become hot enough to turn a pale white. The flames come off of Seika in a feather shape. Kyo’s partial transformation appears simply as Kyo’s eyes shining a blood red light. Kyo also receives sharp talons coming from his toenails. When Kyo fully transforms into Seika, he is engulfed in the Phoenixes’ flames and shares the exact same resemblance. However, Kyo is visible where Seika’s heart is, and is protected by a veil of chakra Seika forms around him, so the white flames don't seriously incinerate his body. The form of Seika is also visible to others when transformed
Personality: Although Seika and Kyo have never been skilled enough to communicate with one another, Seika faintly whispers his commandments in Kyo’s mind, echoing what he wishes from his follower. These whispers constantly place Kyo in a state of confusion and pain, being unexperienced with this communication. However, because Seika is still Kyo's current god, he obeys without question, no matter how much pain he is put in. Seika's whispers don't corrupt Kyo's personality in anyway. He simply desires to fulfill Seika's wishes. From what the Clan preached of, Seika is a kind and gentle soul, whose only personal ambition is to rid the world of those who commit evil, and will use his followers to achieve this goal.
Skills/Specialties: With the powers of Seika in partial transformation, Kyo is able to moves at incredible rates of speed. Along with this, his manipulation over wind is increased even greater than it was before, allowing him to create even more powerful bursts of cutting winds. Finally, Kyo is able to heal himself or an ally in this form by simply crying tears on them. The potential these tears have for healing depends on Kyo's power. However, since he is a genin, his tears can only heal minor injuries, such as cuts and burns. Kyo is in control of himself during this transformation.
When fully transformed, Kyo slips into a state of unconsiousness, but remains held inside Seika’s eternal flames. In this mode, Seika is in control of both of their moevements, guiding Kyo's chakra and using his techniques on a much more powerful scale. Kyo’s chakra, now being performed by Seika, have increased in so much power, that all the flames have turned white and blue from the intensity. Along with this, Kyo is given the power to fly with the chakra wings given to him by Seika. However, being this powerful, Seika has slowed down his rapid movements from the partial transformation in exchange for the ablitity to fly, and the time to form such powerful attacks take more time than before. To unleash the transformation, Kyo must deliver a prayer to Seika which takes quite a while (2 posts) and can leave him wide open. not only that, at genin level, Kyo can only sustain the form for a small amount of time as well (5 Posts).
All of this power that is given to Kyo comes with a hefty price. After the transformations, Kyo's body is incredibly strained after usage, and he won't be able to use his ninjutsu techniques for the rest of the battle. The cost is higher when in full transformation, as even with the veil of chakra surrounding him from the white-hot flames, Kyo's body is still deeply burned, at most 2nd degree, forcing him not to move, at the risk of greatly damaging his body.
History/Background Story: Centuries ago, when man was only one hundred years old, the world was in utter chaos. War and hatred fueled fellow lands to the brink of self-destruction. As humans prepared for a final clash that would lead them to extinction, a fire ignited through the night sky and bursted on the battlefield. Seika crashed onto the open field, weakened and dying by the hatred these people possesed deep within their hearts. Seika's wings spread, and both factions were blocked from eachother by flame. Seika pleaded with the two factions for a stop to this senseless violence within the lands. After a long period of persuasion, the factions agreed to stop their foolish ways, and Seika died. He used the last of his powers to recreate the world in his image. His healing tears flooded into dried valleys, forming riverbeds. His body bursted into ash and created soil for trees to grow. Also, he had given the two lands one final gift to symbolize their peace he had brought them. He had given them the element of fire. Seika was claimed to have appeared throughout major turning points in history six times, including the first. He has died those five other times as well in attempts to bring peace to the land.
Throughout the centuries of Seika's deaths, people slowly lost faith in the story of the Savior Phoenix, and he was reduced to merely a fable. However, with some, the legend was a part of their daily beliefs. During the 3rd Ninja War, only seven people believed Seika still existed, and he was destined to return once again. These seven were the future creators of the Seika Clan. They believed Seika gave them the gift of advanced fire technqiues as a reward of staying strong to the belief. He whispered to these followers in their dreams, wishing them to bring the word of his return to those who have forgotten. However, their preaching went unnoticed. People believed they were insane to believe such an old tale was true. It was until they saved the Fire Village from the Jashinist slaughter that people would hear them out. With this astounding victory, the seven ninja were finally able to tell their tale to those who they owe their lives to. They told them of a prophecy Seika mentioned in their dreams.
Legends predicted one future son will inherit Seikas Wings, and become the shining future of the clan. Members of the clan constantly performed rituals on new infants born into the clan, believing Seika would bless them with his power. All attempts were failures. Members began to lose hope, and started to believe that this was a waste. Then, years after many failed blessings and rituals, Kyo was born, and on his arms were very peculiar markings, which almost perfectly resembled a kind of seal. They finally believed that Seika has chosen one to bring his goal into fruition. When Kyo was a little older, the elders of the clan(at the time) told Kyo of his supposed destiny. With this much support and hope on his shoulders, Kyo constantly trained, not wanting to let his fellow membners down. Kyo matured, and the followers of the Religion were always kind to him because of his “gift.” However, no matter how much Kyo trained and prayed, he couldn’t control Seika as everyone thought he would. It was only after Kazuro stabbed his arms that the seal was opened, and Kyo grasped the power of Seika. Although he may not control it perfectly, he now has a way to unleash a portion of his power with partial transformation. His full transformation is not perfected yet.
