The sun wasn't even up yet, It still lingered on the crest of the horizon, the Hidden cloud village being one of the last o be greeted by the morning light. Its elevation didn't help the temperature either, with the clouds leaving a lingering fog early in the morning as they hung near the ground, the molecules heavy with the nights cold air. Osen struggled to pull herself out of bed though, knowing that she had a job to do.Even her bed was cluttered with stuff, clothes, pillows, a stuffed animal mountain, and even a small plate. The floor was no better, and as she stepped off of her bed onto the cold wood, she was greeted with a sharp pain as something she couldn't identify poked at her skin.
Quickly jumping into the sower, she made sure to wash everything from her long red hair hair to the little groves between her toes. She wanted to be as neat and clean as possible, despite the hurricane that was her room. A few minutes later and she had finally dried off and begun assembling her outfit. Her normal outfit, green pants and a tank top, seemed right, but she knew she was going on official business, it was cold outside in the early morning, and she had to look presentable. Instead of her normal white tank top, she wore a more stylized one, embroidered with red flowers that blended and ran together to form her clan symbol. Underneath she wore a black spandex turtleneck, something that was actually meant to keep her warm. For pants she wore a pair of long black pants with pockets lining the sides, which she filled with whatever tools she thought she would need. She wrapped her ankles with red tape before putting on her shinobi style sandals, making sure everything was neatly attached. Lastly, she tied her headband underneath her hair before sliding it backwards, using it as a hairband instead of just putting it on her forehead.
As usual, when she went downstairs there was a note on the refrigerator telling her that her aunt and uncle were out of town. this time though, there was a card attached to it with a letter that wished her luck on her new team, and when she opened the refrigerator, she was surprised to actually find it stocked with food. It was almost a first for her, the last time they showed this much effort was when she had graduated the academy, though they still were out of town.
Grabbing a quick breakfast, she ran out of the house, easily picking up speed and meeting at the village gate. The brisk jog had opened up her pores and warmed her up, and her pumping heart felt good. She didn't feel any vibe from her inner demon, and she felt confident that she would do well today and keep herself under control. In the distance she could see a person wearing a Kumo style flack jacket with a jacket underneath. She was sure this was their sensei since he was in the right place, at the right time, and wearing the right thing. Finally, she slowed down, walking over to him, but stopped when she realized that she had left her katana at home, leaning against the door. She hoped she wouldn't need it, but just realizing she didn't have it dropped her mood a bit.
