House of Cards | Blooming Spade

The gates looked so big from inside the village, they always seemed like this huge impassable barrier, but now... now they were just obstacles in her way. Still, she had tremendous respect for them, for what they stood for, for what they held in, for what they protected.

" Come on girl... we have a long way to go and not very long to get there."

Ahead of her were three male ninja, two genin and a Jounin Kumogakure, and all standing impatiently waiting for her to hurry up. Team 13. Yukimura and Hiruko, led by Satsuma Iroja, a sealing expert. Their last member was out of commission after a hard mission and some serious injuries, leaving them an open spot for her to join in. They had all been out of the village many times, the awe of the gates, and the awe of what lie beyond was gone for them. All they knew was the mission, and their fear of her. Reluctantly, they accepted her as an add on, though they made it well known that she was only temporary.

Girl...

Osen Jenzhi, the messy red headed demon child. She had so many names that she had to ignore it almost made her crazy thinking about it, but the one name she hated most of all...

Girl...

They hadn't even bothered learning her name, or maybe they had and just didn't care to use it. Either way, it was the most disrespectful thing she had heard in a while. It made her feel like more of an object, a tool, rather than a person. She could feel the anger welling up inside of her at it, and for a moment she thought about lashing out, about showing this guy how much of a "girl" she really was. then she remembered that he had been given express instructions about dealing with her, and she had been told, and shown, exactly what would happen to her if any sort of incident occurred. She could still feel the rawness of her wrists where she had been chained, and she could still remember the pain she felt when her new "seal" was turned on.

With a sigh she looked at the gates one more time before moving forward.

"My Name is Osen. Use it."

The man, Satsuma Iroja looked at her with a look of pure distaste for a moment before turning his back to her and walking forward. He didn't care about her, she was just part of a paycheck to him. Years ago, a rampaging Hachibi had killed his wife and son, and even though it wasn't all Osen's fault, she was the jinchuuriki at the time, and so he blamed her wholeheartedly, though he would never tell anyone.

That being said, his attitude towards her was much less than friendly, and as they traveled down the rocky path towards their destination, he didn't even bother speaking to her, only glancing at her occasionally with the same pained look.

"So...Do either of you two know where were going?"

The two boys, Yukimura and Hiruko had been walking ahead of Osen for some time, keeping to themselves and snickering a bit. She had known them in the academy, and at one point they had even been friends, but that was long ago, and now, like everyone else, they hardly acknowledged her. When she spoke they simply looked back, sinckered and turned back to what they were doing. She could feel the vein popping up in her forehead where he annoyance normally showed itself. Still, she couldn't do anything about it with their sensei around so she just closed her mouth and continued walking.

"Is this what you stayed for..."

She knew she was at risk, the way she was feeling couldn't be good for the health of her seal. Ever since her incident she had been slipping more and more into a sort of depression. She felt weak, powerless, and useless, and even though she knew this was dangerous thinking, nobody had proved her wrong yet. Every person she had known had abandoned or betrayed her, everyone she had met had disappeared from her life without a trace. Even those people she thought had her best interest at heart, they had proven themselves unworthy.

"Is this what you stayed for..."

The whole scenery around her changed from a simple mountain pass to some sort of chamber. She wondered what it was, her mind running over every possibility. The last thing she remembered was walking.

"Am I in a genjutsu...."

Behind her there was nothing, but in the distance she could hear a deep, low chuckle. In that direction a corridor appeared, lined with purple torches. It was the only path she could see so she walked forward, slowly moving towards the unknown. The silence was eerie, each of her footsteps echoing down the hallway, and the sound of the laughter growing ever closer.

"What is this place...."

The laughter was much louder now and almost instantly, she could see an opening. There was no door, jsut a doorway.

COME

The voice boomed and scared her for a moment, but she couldn't help herself. She just walked forward, into the room. Inside there was an amazing fountain filled with white and purple flowers floating on the surface. She could tell the water was hot from the way steam rolled on its surface, and yet it looked inviting and beautiful. In the center of the entire fountain, where a statue or afaucet would be, there was simply a bowl filled with the same purple fire as the torches. The color was so familiar, it was like something se had seen a million times and yet never thought about it. Bending down to pick up one of the flowers from the fountain she heard a small clink. As she looked down she finally realized why the color was so familiar. Around her neck she had been wearing a small purple stone that she had gotten from a strange man in the town square. He had told her it was hers for free since he had no record of it, but it always bothered her that everyone said it was bright blue, and she always saw it as purple.

This color purple.

It was like she was being drawn in by some force she couldn't understand, something other than the voice was compelling her to move forward, past the fountain. Even the tendrils of steam over the surface of the water seemed to be calling her, motioning her to continue. She couldn't help herself, and so she continued, around the edge of the fountain, past the fog, and into a gigantic doorway. It was gated, made of something like silver, shiny and bright yet she could t ell it was stronger than that. the gate had a lattice type design, impressive cutouts that seemed to curl back and forth like the tendrils of steam from the fountain. Behind it was pitch black, except for a strange purple glow in the distance, a glow that seemed to mirror what she had been seeing.

Welcome Home Little Osen... Welcome....

Just as quickly as she had been thrust into the realm of her Bijuu she was ripped from it by an almost imaginable pain. As she opened her eyes she saw a hellish nightmare going on around her. There was a large cloud of dust floating in the air, and there was fire. She couldn't hear anything but ringing, but she felt an intense throbbing sensation in the side of her head. Slowly looking around she found herself on the ground, lying on her side, and one of the boys... Hiruko she believed, he was lying on the ground in front of her in a pool of blood.

Is he dead... whats going on...

She didn't have time to figure anything out, she just ran for the nearest sheltered object, a fallen tree, to try and get a handle for what was going on. She had only seen one person, her downed "teammate." The other one and the sensei were nowhere to be found, but she was starting to get her hearing back, and she could pick out a few voices, one she knew, some she didn't. They were searching for something. Asking for something. Asking for someone.

As the smoke cleared she saw another figure lying on the ground, the sensei. His whole left side was missing, blown off she assumed. She didn't have any sympathy for him, but when she saw the other boy on his knees, surrounded by three men with a sword at his neck, she felt some sort of something. she didn't want to see him die, he was just a kid like her. He didn't deserve it. He didn't

"Shes over there somewhere... she has red hair. Just take that freak and let me go."

He did deserve it.

Jenzhi-san....

An overheard plan, a sudden departure, and now Saichi was running at top speed through the forest, tracking his former teammate's movements as best he could.

A shockwave nearly knocked him off his feet and dust burned his eyes. He rubbed at them and blinked repeatedly until he could see again, the explosion still ringing in his ears.

Dancing light and flickering heat up ahead, and Saichi resumed movement at a slower pace, keeping low in the foliage.

First, he had to find Jenzhi-san; he'd heard from the gate guard that she had left with another team....

And if this explosion had happened around her, she was in trouble.

...whoever did this was an idiot who didn't think about burning the forest down, too.

A branch cracked and fell in a shower of sparks and Saichi dodged around it without a second thought, singing his arm and cheek in the process. It hurt to touch, but it wasn't enough to bother him too much--

"Shes over there somewhere... she has red hair. Just take that freak and let me go."

A Kumo nin, on his knees, a sword at his neck.

And from what he'd just said....

...these guys were after Jenzhi-san? Sure, she was a jinchuuriki, but....

Gah, people were idiots at times.

And he was an idiot for coming underequipped, but oh well.

Time to save everybody.

His trademark smirk grew on his lips, his eyes cooled, his poker face set in place as he ran various scenarios through his head, trying to figure out the best one to get that kid to safety or at least ready to fight.

Jenzhi-san was probably somewhere nearby, too. He'd find her as soon as he could.

And here. We. Go!

A flash bomb was lobbed high, a kunai with an explosive note thrown at the feet of the enemies as a distraction; they jumped back on reflex, the flash bomb went off, Saichi rushed in and grabbed the kid while everyone was blinded, heavily tinted goggles previously held within his pack covering his eyes and letting him see relatively well in the flash; he hit the ground running with a hand clamped over the fellow Kumo nin's mouth and another wrapped around his waist, dragging him away to safety; running back to his earlier cover would take too long, so he just kept moving forward, diving behind some debris and landing hard in the dirt, only to find himself looking up at a dazzled Jenzhi-san.

Saichi flipped up his goggles with his free hand, grinning up at his ex-teammate with a little wave as he kept his other hand clamped over the newly-rescued kids mouth. If the boy had sold out Jenzhi-san that quickly, it was a good idea to keep his mouth shut.

The light faded and the enemies were cursing and shouting, Saichi set off the explosive note for good measure and extra cover, and the genin stood with some effort, dragging the kid up with him.

Now to figure out how to take the enemy down and get away safely with Jenzhi-san.

"With so many other skilled ninja at my beckon call, you'd think I would take advantage of that," thought the sennin elite as he passed over the mountains towards the intended target. Kairebu Soratodai, son of the great Raikedama, brother of the Ox Sage Tomoushii, former ANBU operative, and now the Chief of the revised Imperial Police of the new Empire of Cloud was startled to feel a chakra signature emerge from no where. It may have seemed from no where, yet the sennin just where that kind of power was kept.

"Osen..."

Kairebu could feel the Hachibi's chakra beginning to flow ever so faint from the direction he was floating, as it was all the more noticeable than typical human chakra. Just before he began to dive bomb and glide in speed towards Osen's general location, he sensed the several other signatures around her. The situation was vaguely described to Kairebu by ROAR agents investigating the girl closely since her becoming a ninja. He knew that a shady bunch was after the Hachibi, and therefore Osen herself. But, his attention was called to a chakra signature that Kairebu hadn't felt for some time. Kairebu swooped in on this target instead, as this familiarity made it priority.

Dropping slowly overhead the individual, the sennin could now see the full battle dress and direction the new target was moving. No doubt about it. It was a Malitia nin. "Would they really go so far as to incite war over the Hachibi?" thought Kairebu as he came within hearing distance from the figure below. The sennin could make out the kanji symbol on the mask worn by the rouge ninja as he called out to him.

Image

"for conspiracy against the Lightning Country. By standing orders of the prior Raikage, any individual suspected with intent to manipulate or capture the bearer of the Hachibi is subject to detainment and question by a Chuunin ranked shinobi or higher," Kairebu states to the shinobi as he slumps helplessly to the ground under the immense weight caused by the seal. "You got lucky, today. You met a jounin, and the Chief of Police, none the less."
Ice looks up as best as he can manage, only able to aim his eyes so they were just able to see Kairebu's face.
"I should've known it was you, ...Kaidan," he nearly spat towards the Sennin. The mist servant clone had vanished as soon as Ice hit the ground, but he still looked around trying to find it in case he was simply suffering from a strong genjutsu. Kairebu's slight smile faded as soon as... that name came up. He crouched down, putting his sword against Ice's neck again as he removed the mask.
"As much as I already knew it was you, "Blackwind" Senko Yoshikawa... or should I say Iyesu Soho? That was supposed to be your new identity, on that farm just on the outskirts of Kyusai. What happened, then? Was the deal I worked out for all of you not good enough? The ability to have a family, to live? That was just a passing fancy, then? I'm hurt, Blackwind."
"You wouldn't understand."
"I understand enough that your boss is planning a major sting operation on the Shinobi cities, and I'm going to stop it one way or the other. Now tell me what I want to know, and you may live to return to that farm home of yours. You started a family there, didn't you?"
Dead silence. It didn't matter. Patience was ever on Kairebu's mind. He stood and took a few paces away from his prisoner, taking out a two way. "Castle? This is Foundation. Ice is on the grass, and the mountains couldn't be better looking. I repeat. Ice is on the grass, and the mountains couldn't be better looking."
Kairebu slowly turned around to stare at the former comrade. From a distance, he calls out to him.
"It's your decision. You can come clean right now, or I'll let BOLT interrogators intimidate you into doing so if I have to. I don't remember you being s stubborn about this kind of thing."
"Like I said... You wouldn't understand."
With a shake of his head, Kairebu makes a set of hand seals, then floats into the air. Osen isn't that far. And for now, she had at least one less pursuer to worry about... That, and Saichi was apparently there to help out as well.

He desrved to die, She wanted him to die. Shee needed him to die. But as a Ninja of Kumogaure she could not allow that to happen. Even though he had given her up to the enemy she had to save him. When they got back to the village then they could decide what to do wih him, but for now, they had to get back. She quickly checked her equipment, which was minimal at most and prepared to vault over the rock, throwing knives as shw went.

CRACK

A loud pop nd everything went white for a few seconds. she barely had time to sheild her eyes from the blast, taking a portion of the intense light. As her vision cleared up she saw a figure vaulting over the same rock she planned to jump from. She instantly aassumed a fighting stance and prepared to attack, but her eyes could clearly make out the figure.

....SAICHI.....

He was probably the last person she would have expected to be in this situation, even though in reality she didnt expect anyone to come for her. He had the little rat of a kid in his grasp as well, and the way he was holding his mouth made her smile, though she wold have liked to cut his tongue out for good measure. Saich made a motion with his free hand and a moment later another explosion went off. Things were getting crazy, but she was glad that there was somebody there with her, even though she didn't know how his presence would help. Still Two people were better than one.

"Hey... We can't fight them like this, they already killed the other two people with me. I can give us more cover, then we can run. but first...."

Osen walked over to the gagged boy, quickly delivering a blow to the side of his head, knocking him unconcious.

" We dont need him struggling or giving away out position. I can carry him."

As weird as it sounded, and especially with her small frame, she knew she could easily lift him and carry him, a gift of her incredible strength. Moments later she had formed handseals and activated her Kumogakure technique, causing a group of clouds to slowly appear, covering the area in a deep fog. If they were going to use the fog as cover they would have to move quickly. She could hold it for a while, but definitley not indefinitley, and not if she wasn't concentrating. If they got caught then she definitley wouldnt be able to concentrate.

Saichi nodded and handed the unconscious boy over, already running through what he knew they had available; he mostly had just hearsay to base what he knew of Jenzhi-san's abilities.... The way she easily hefted the boy, though, suggested a good amount of strength. The fact that she was a Jinchuuriki said that she had a great deal of potential power, but he didn't know how well she could control it; a last resort, preferrably something to go unused for Jenzhi-san's sake, as well.

The formation of the clouds around them suggested either a purely chakra technique, Fuuton--no, there were too many elemental possibilities to consider. Just that she could create clouds like this was enough for now.

A sharp crack sent a nearby branch crashing to the ground in a shower of sparks, and the two shinobi and their unconscious companion darted into the forest, Saichi taking a slight lead to pick out the best path, note potential strategic positions if they got stopped, and ready preparations for battle.

They needed to move as silently and swiftly as wraiths in order to escape.

It was thus a pity when a man from their pursuing group appeared before them, already shouting to his comrades that he'd found the girl, and Saichi scooped up a handful of loose dirt mid-stride and hurled it into the enemy's face, the amethyst-eyed shinobi wielding a kunai already brought forward to try to take him out of the picture before the young genin were surrounded.

They needed to get out of there, and fast.

Shit had hit the fan, or so the saying went. Their cover had been blown, and though this wasn't her first time using her technique, it was the first time she had used it where her life, and the lives of others, may have depended on it. The pressure was greater than she had expected, and as soon as the guy appeared she got scared and the technique failed. Soon the clouds dispersed, just in time for her to see saichi flinging a handful of dirt at the guys face. A real basic distraction. Osen noted the Kunai i the mix, but knew in her heart that that wouldn't be enough. The way she was carrying the boy, it made him almost weightless, but she was out of the use of one of her hands, meaning any other ninjutsu techniques would be unavailable to her.

"Should we have saved this kid... was he really worth it... Is his life worth ours..."

The questions weighed heavy on her mind, so heavy she was almost scared out of her mind when someone answered.

"That's a good question little Osen... What do you think?"

Her Bijuu always seemed to know just when to open his mouth. She knew the answer in her heart. Even though he was a kumo ninja, he had sold her out, he was a traitor, and he was spineless at that. Not worth the energy, time, or effort to save him, but it wasn't her decision, it would be the higher ups once she got back if she did. Still, they were after her, she could either fight or run. If she fought, she would have to drop the kid. If she ran, she would be abandoning the one person that had her back. It was an easy decision.

She quickly darted off into the woods, running behind a tree before dropping the traitor boy's body. She quickly re-initiated her Hidden Cloud technique, reducing the visibility in the areas significantly. Still, she knew Saichi was close enough to be in danger so she had to act. She tried her hardest to find him, but could only really rely on her sense of smell, something she had never really noticed before now. She could smell two people nearby, but didn't know which was which. She didn't know which one to attack, and not marking her opponent was her first mistake of the day.

DAMNIT....

She had messed up and wasted chakra.

The kunai sliced air as the blinded enemy leapt back, coughing and shouting and trying to rub the dirt out of his eyes.

The fog around them that had dispersed mere moments before reformed, but not before Saichi glimpsed two more enemies on the approach.

Alright, Saichi, keep your cool.... Just... three enemies to deal with in little to no visibility. Right.

Jenzhi-san's clouds were a double-edged sword; while their enemies couldn't see them, they couldn't see their enemies, either.

And... he wasn't really sure where she'd run off to, but she had to be close by.

The blinded man had stopped shouting by now, so Saichi could only assume he could see well enough to notice the cloud cover....

The genin couldn't stay in one place, but every movement might bring him closer to being attacked. So... basic distraction tactics, then. The basics and strategy were his strengths, and he had to utilize them to their fullest to beat any opponent that came his way.

A slow, careful step, followed by another, moving as quietly as possible as he gently picked up a pebble, waiting for the right moment before he tossed it in the direction opposite he was moving so that it disappeared into the clouds and landed with a soft rustling of grass and leaves, gently picking up another pebble as he moved as quietly and carefully as possible.

A chess match where the visibility of the board was limited.

Should be interesting.

His trademark smirk widened ever so slightly, even as his heart pounded with fear and adrenaline.

She couldn't beat herself up about the situation. If she knew anything about Saichi, she knew that he was resourceful. She was sure that he was probably making some sort of plan up, luring her enemy somewhere, leading them into a trap.

Okay, now what should I do, how should i... OUCH.

As she was contemplating her next move she felt a sharp pain as a rock hit her in the side of the head. She almost yelled out loud as her right eye began to tear up, but she kept her composure, noting he unique smell of the rock. She didn't know why, but it reminded her of the smell that boy gave off, mixed with something more familiar, something from the village.

Saichi!

She had recognized the smell finally, remembering it from when they were behind their first hiding place. She was new to this whole smelling thing after all, but now she had some sort of a foothold. She knew in which direction Saichi was going, and she could tell the general area that her opponent was in. As she took a deep breath, she also noted that there were other smells coming closer to them, most likely those other ninja. This was definitely not going good for them. Still, she had to act, even if it was only long enough to buy them time to escape.

Koumu no Jutsu

Her handseals were quick and effortless as she spewed a stream of fog like mist towards the scent she identified as the enemy ninja. This fog was the same color as the clouds, so he would never see it coming. Mere moments after she had used it, she could tell the effects were working. He began coughing, slight at first, then more loudly, along with cussing and such. He was making just enough noise for her to find him.

Just Enough.

"ARRRRGHHHH!"

Her yell probably startled the man, but it was already too late. While he was coughing and cussing, Osen had crept up, close enough to see his outline, and then she charged at him, the muscles in her legs almost bulging from the force that she had shoved into them. Her shoulder hit him square in the stomach, knocking him to the ground with a hard thud. She swore she heard a bone snap somewhere in there. For a kid her age, he probably would have been out of the fight after something like that, but this man, he just cussed again, calling her something no girl should have to hear, then began to get up. Still, she had darted off so quickly that he had no idea where she was, and for a second time in his life, he was hit by the full force of her Gore technique, this time to the back on the same side.

"ARRRRGHHHH!"

She was sure she heard a rib crack that time. He was still coughing from breathing in her poison fog, and now, she was sure it was starting to affect him badly, she could detect the scent of blood on him, much louder every time he coughed. He was hacking up blood.

Could she pull it off a third time, or was she getting greedy?

"ARRRRGHHHH!"

What was she doing, shouting like that?! Jenzhi-san was liable to draw all of the enemies to her--

"ARRRRGHHHH!"

Saichi grinned.

It was risky, but maybe....

He slipped silently through the fog towards the sound of coughing, held his breath as a precaution, and darted through, pausing for an instant behind the downed man to slide a kunai blade across his throat before he took off running again, a light hand patting Jenzhi-san on the shoulder as he passed.

"They should be getting close after all that shouting, let's get the drop on them first," he whispered, quickly disappearing into the fog once more.

It was only on occassion that he made a noise, only to quickly leave that area, trying to draw their enemies out of hiding and make them cocky while the teen did the best he could to set up traps around the area....

As a hand patted Osen on her shoulder she smiled, having quickly learned its scent under such duress. She could smell the distinct scent of fresh blood on both Saichi and The man, who had now become silent. His body was perfectly still, his coughing stopped, he was dead. With a quick handseal she changed the density and makeup of her poison fog, neutralizing it so that Saichi could breathe regularly. She listened to his short plan carefully, realizing that she could be of some use finally. She could smell the other people coming, Just like she could smell the fact that the traitor boy was still where she had left him. As Saichi set the traps, Osen went and checked on the boy. he was still unconscious, Osen had really whacked him one. For a moment she considered just killing him, running away under cover of the fog and going back to the village, but this was just sure to happen again. She had to send them a signal that she wasn't a tool, she was a person, and plus, she couldn't leave Saichi out here alone.

She was determined to see this thing through, she had to do what she had to do, they had to go. As young as she was she knew it, and for once in her life, her Bijuu felt the determination in her, he liked it. He agreed with it.

"I like this little Osen... You might not be so stupid after all...."

IN a few moments everything was setup, and they pair only had to play the waiting game. They had made enough distraction and noise that the other ninja knew where they were. Osen's fog had thinned down a bit, to increase visibility, just enough so that they could see the targets they had set up. These shinobi were cocky, but they were stupid. They weren't stealthy, they underestimated their opponents, and they had no real honor. She had no remorse for them, none at all, and as the first trap went off, she was emotionless. She wasn't happy she had to do this just to live, but she wasn't sad that they were having it happen to them. She didn't feel anything. She just wanted it to be over.

Impatient.... That's what she felt.

He was under-prepared.

He was trying his best to make what little wire and explosive tags and shuriken and kunai stretch as far as he could make it, but... there were holes in their defenses.

The first trap went off without a hitch, a shuriken trap that sliced into the enemy with slick thuds and a pained cry that became a gurgle.

Saichi held his breath, keeping a kunai at the ready, just in case.

An explosion sounded off to their left, followed by one to their right and then one in front and in back. Shuriken and kunai and debris sliced into wood and flesh alike in a chain reaction.

Silence as the dust settled.

He could feel his heart racing, pounding in his ears as he stayed perfectly still.

Outlines in the fog.

Saichi darted forward to attack, only to stumble back with a shout a flames burst forward, surrounded the two and closed in--

The boy was shoving his female comrade down and atop her in an instant, shielding her with his body as the fire passed a mere centimeters above his back, the heat scorching his flesh and gritting his teeth; it dissipated into clear air, and Saichi rolled off of Jenzhi-san and through the grass, his shirt on fire, the mist-dampened grass helping to put it out before he was on his stomach, holes in the fabric showing burn-reddened flesh as he arched in pain, stifling a groan.

A glance to the side showed that Jenzhi-san was safe; at least she didn't get hurt.

But the enemies were still out there, and now she would either have to protect him or run away unless he could get up and make a stand beside her....

He had turned into a burden in an instant, it seemed. A wry grin formed on his lips at the thought amidst his expression of pain.

The traps worked like a charm, but Osen could feel that something was off. She could smell it. All of the traps, or the people that were in them, they smelled the same. It wasn't similar, like people that were around each other.... it was the same... like the same person over and over again, and there were more coming. Many more. As saichi ran and tackled Osen to the ground, she caught the glimpse of a fireball flying across the top of them. She could feel the heat, even through Saichi's body, but she could smell burning flesh and hair... and he wasn't getting up/

Saichi...

Tajuu Iwa Bunshin

The very ground around them trembled as a large amount of a single ninja appeared all around them. The sheer pressure of the group caused Osen's fog to disperse, fanning out in all directions. The duo was completely surrounded, and even the unconscious boy had a group of clones around him. One clone quickly pulled a knife out and held it to the boys throat.

"We're going to kill all of your little friends, and then your'e coming with us."

A quick jerk of the clones hand, and the boys blood painted the ground red. As his body dropped to the ground limp, Osen's eyes began to well up with tears. Kids shouldn't have to die like that, nobody should have to die like that. Not even someone like him. Still, she finally felt again, she felt pain, she felt heartache, she felt despair. Looking at Saichi lying on the ground her very hear began to hurt. A single clone stepped forward out of the group, or maybe it was the real one. She couldn't tell... she didn't care... she couldn't even see with the amount of tears on her face. It was standing near Saichi. It was walking towards him. It was standing over him.

Let Go...

"Looks like we already got this one... Didn't know you liked your kids extra crispy Yuko..."

Within the crowd of clones a single different one laughed, his blonde hair standing out from the brown hair of the clone army. As he walked over to where Saichi was laying he chuckled again.

"Nah, hes just rare right now, Ill make him well done in just a second...."

"....Shut up....."

Osen's body barreled into the man, knocking him clear into a group of earth clones, crumbling them with the impact. Once again Osen's eyes faded out from emerald green to a deep, intoxicating violet. Her teeth and nails... they sharpened. Her hair began to stand up from its brushed beauty to become ragged and feral. The very clothes she wore began to tighten on her until parts of her shirt ripped and her legs began to bulge, her pants cutting into her skin. An eerie purple aura surrounded her, further pushing back what fog lingered around her. As she skidded to a halt she stayed on all fours, looking around, counting how many clones were around her. There were dozens. She couldn't handle that many, but she was so angry.... So so angry.....

Argggghhhhhh!

She charged anyway, taking the whole thought out of her mind. She barreled int o a group of clones, taking them out almost with ease. there were plenty of them, but they were weak, probably a tradeoff for such a large number. As she jumped from clone to clone, punching them, kicking them, doing whatever she could, she could feel their numbers closing in on her. There were just so many....
