The Outer Circle. [Kiyoshi]

The many towns and cities tucked in the crevices of the world, uncontrolled by any formal power. Some are friendly. Others, not so much.

The Outer Circle. [Kiyoshi]

Shrrr. The rounded tip of a pencil dragged across the paper's surface in a uniform line. Dark brown eyes scanned the surface of the paper from behind black framed glasses, slender fingers poised to mark the next bit of vital information. The tip of the pencil hovered over the surface of the paper, moving along with the footsteps of her eyes across the page.

Rain pattered on the window outside. The dark gloomy skies loomed above, an endless sea of varying shades of gray.

Her hands lifted to turn the page but halted when a door opened. Saeka turned her eyes to the sound of her room door opening.

Mister Tatenatsu's old eyes met with her own. "We have guests, Saeka. You should go out into the hallway to meet them." He had a softened voice that only came with old age, like how a plum loses its turgor after being shriveled by time and water loss.

Pushing herself out of her chair, she nodded and wordlessly stepped out into the hall like she had countless times before. Her hands at her sides as she waited in that long hall of the Amegakure Orphanage, her eyes at attention and examining the faces of the other children around her. Some faces came and went quicker than you could imagine. Some ran away, others simply got adopted much more quickly; On the opposing end, people stayed.

She was in that category.

Her eyes focused in on a pair of figures making their way down the hallway, one male, one female.

Why she had not been adopted? Even she didn't know, but she could attribute part of it to the fact that she wasn't as open as most others were in the orphanage, and in fact she was quite a recluse. She didn't want to be something large and over the top like the other children and was considerably less interested in what they were.

Her back straightened as the couple came with the other owner of the Orphanage, Lady Willow.

She hears the footsteps as they near. She keeps her head down in polite silence. Her memories retracted to one time where a few kids from the orphanage went to a pet shop and there were rows of fish organized by species. If you wanted to buy a fish, you could either have the owner pick out which fish you wanted or fish for it yourself.
Ever since she saw those fish in the tank, helplessly swimming away from the net hoping not to be the one caught, she had associated it with the approach of a new client.

She could understand why most clients looked at her once, saw the willowy strands of black hair framing her chilled pale skin with dark eyes and passed her by. She wasn't frankly appealing in the means of welcoming appearance.

"Please take your time. We want you to feel comfortable picking." Lady Willow spoke, her groaning toad was similar to a softened frog. Her hair was pulled back into a simple bun with a singular pin holding it up. The couple nodded. The woman held a delicate countenance, the strands of her brown hair spilling over her shoulders. Her eyes seemed tired as she examined each of the children. The man, what one could assume to be her husband kept a smile on his face at all times. He was wearing a blue suit, that of an employee, definitely, judging by the cut and color. Most executives wouldn't wear a suit that was that tinge or of that quality. If anything, they seemed to be a perfectly pretty couple.

"We will take our time." The lady responded, she didn't seem to see what she wanted in any of the faces before Saeka.

"You have a nice place here, Willow." The man grinned. It seemed as if his skin was about to tear, that grin was so wide.

They passed each of them one by one.

Saeka swallowed as they neared her.

They would probably pass. It seemed they were searching for the model child that every couple wants to complete their photos with. Saeka was not that person.

The man's eyes locked on her as he walked nearby. Looking up to him and then to where his eyes were, she looked as well. Saeka's looked up to the pair, her eyes blankly examining both of them.

"Well, what's your name, young miss?" he asked. Willow looked with intrigue from behind the couple. She had expected to keep Saeka here until adulthood due to her unpopularity

"Saeka."

"Saeka..." He repeats softly. His grin softening, relaxing. It didn't somehow seem right, but his previous grin was a bit more easier to deal with than before. Maybe he had a job in hospitality, and thus that is why he had always kept on that doll-like face of a public figure... frozen in an eternal poise that is oddly inhuman.

Lady Willow coughed, gathering all three of their attention. The other children in the hall turned their eyes towards the care taker."Saeka is one of our more quiet children. She tends to stay indoors a lot more, but is completely respectful and courteous in her mannerisms."

The woman steps forward, her eyes examining Saeka. "How old are you, Saeka?"

Classic question. "!2." She responds, her eyes reflecting nothing but neutral assessment. There was actually nothing that Saeka has on these people yet. The physical situation seems to be devoid of any out of the normal instances. She feel something isn't right, though. It isn't something that she can put her finger on, but she senses something odd about this pair.

Lady Willow breathes out a puff of air from her pipe. "Are you interested in Saeka?" How she says it so casually... doesn't surprise Saeka at all.

The couple first exchange glances with each other, and then turn their attention to Saeka.

Surrounding the 4 involved is a ring of the eyes of the orphans. Silent, watching... waiting.

"Yes, I think Saeka is what we want in our family." The man replies, his fake-skin stretching back into that normal smile. Crow's feet appear at the edges of his eyes as he does so.

"Excellent, why don't we go into my office and discuss further details." Lady Willow nods, her veiny hands stretching out to place themselves on Saeka's shoulder.
"Come now, dear."

Saeka silently obeys, her eyes forward as she proceeds to Lady Willow's Office in the far back of the orphanage.

Lady Willow hugged Saeka as her and her new parents stood outside of the orphanage's front door. Her belongings were loaded onto a carriage that the couple had borrowed for their trip here. Saeka's nose was filled with the plum scent of Lady Willow's tobacco as they hugged. She wrapped her arms around the old woman's neck as they stood there for a while. Although she and Lady Willow weren't exactly close, she knew for a fact that she had been taken in by this woman from childhood and watched over. It was a bit much to expect a close relationship out of the woman who had more than a hundred mouths to feed and backs to clothe.

She had never condemned Lady Willow's smoking, as she knew it was a form of relaxation. Only now did she truly realize the weight that could be on the older woman's shoulders.

"Be strong and smile, Saeka." Lady Willow confides, her eyes locking with Saeka's with a distant glaze. She wonders if this is something that Lady Willow says to all of the adopted children. Something about it, though feels special... personal.

Nodding, Saeka mouths a wordless thank you. In return, Lady Willow gives an understanding smile and pushes her off towards her new parents. Willow's disappointed if not worried frown is never to be seen as Saeka makes her way into the carriage.

- - -

The carriage is a bit bumpy, if not cramped. Saeka is wedged between her newly adopted parents on the ride. They both have their faces out of the windows, the curtains are drawn, so Saeka can't necessarily see where she is going. The bustle of streets fills her ears for the first half of the ride, but it slowly starts to fade as the ride becomes ever more quiet.

The carriage began to come to a slow stop. Saeka's wrist was firmly gripped within seconds as the male quickly held her down. The woman, free of struggling with Saeka blocked out her vision with the thick fabric of a sack over her head.

A hard thump on the top of her head drew her into darkness.

A hard hand grasped onto her shoulder, shaking her awake. The crackling of fire and a semi-lit area came into Saeka's fuzzy line of sight.
Everything was blurry, her head was pounding as she was shook awake.

As soon as the person recognized her to be awake, she felt a cold chill over her flesh as they began to rip off her clothing. They took off her jacket first, peeling off her skirt and shirt and threw it off of her. Her hands grasped at the articles of clothing to no avail. They were simply much stronger than her.

She gathered her sight up for the moment and things began to come into focus. A piece of ragged white fabric was thrown at her.

"Put it on." the figure ordered. Shadows covered most of his facial features, but his bulky build was left in the light to tower over her ominously. A barred door closed in front of her as he waited.

Exposed to the cold air, Saeka shivered and dressed herself.

The figure silently watched, leaving once he saw she had obeyed.

The cloth did nothing to cover up for the chill this place provided, and the damp floor. Alone, she began to examine the surroundings provided in the light provided.

There was no sound of rain. There was no light provided through windows. Looking around her surroundings and the constructed stone ceilings with a vast network of rusted pipes, Saeka believed this to be an underground passageway. She had read of these passages in history. Ame had made these for both escapes and dungeons. They were abandoned, however in favor of more safe methods. The government had made sure to update their standards for construction underground since. Handset stone and leaky pipes meant this was in the older part.

The floor was individually set stone, wet slightly from dripping up above.

The bars that sealed her in were rather solid and new, and the cell was small. It wasn't furnished with either a bed or a toilet, so she was to be expected to live like an animal or she wouldn't be here for long. Judging by the fact they had taken her clothes and replaced them with something easily removable and generic, they were planning on using her for something that involved her body in one way or the other. It also meant that they had probably done this before. She wasn't likely to be dealing with absolute idiots.

The entire adoption was a hoax, apparently. Saeka thought of how many other children had been in this same cell as her. What had happened to them and were they even alive at this point?

These questions would have to wait for now. Her escape was more important in the fact that Saeka wouldn't want to find out what's on the other end for now.
Her eyes searched the area.

This wasn't going to be easy.

Although it would be hard, she didn't want to go down without an effort. Escape had tp be possible.

Saeka cautiously stepped up towards the bars locking her in. There was an old styled lock on one of the bars. Too wide to open by brute force. Semi blindly feeling around, she lightly touched the stones surrounding the perimeter of her cell. Each stone was set pretty well, and they probably would have noticed it if someone were to sneak out this way. Escaping by flaw in construction or architecture didn't seem likely.

Her hands rubbed together from the cold, her knees shook from sheer discomfort. Her eyebrows drew hard on her face as she shivered. Her head was still a bit unclear and her heartbeat pounded in her ears dully.

I may not be able to find something within the cell, but there has to be something I can use to help me escape.

Looking across from her, the hallway across from her cell was barely illuminated by a line of torches. The darkness covered over any possible exits for her to see beyond the general vicinity. Looking towards the torches above, she noted their base. They seemed pretty solid in the fact that the wood was held in place by steel handles. The flame and it's gently crackling embers, however seemed her only hope. Somehow, she would have to use one of the torches to her advantage. Possibly grabbing onto either the one her inevitable escort would bring or dislodging the torch on the wall... although it would be quite a rare opportunity for her to get even that far.

Frowning, she knew that the possibilities of her getting an open chance like that were slim and foolish to rely upon. Reaching her fingers up to the bridge of her nose habitually to push up her glasses, she realized that they were gone.

She was near-sighted, so it wouldn't be wise to engage in any sort of close range combat. The one time genetics had to come into play, now wasn't the best time.

Her hands wrapped around her form as she rested against the wall.

In honesty, this was going to have to be a waiting game. There really wasn't any way for her to wiggle out of this one. Yet.

Her eyes looked to the torch again.

Wait, that was it. Substitution. She could change places with the torch on the wall and get out of the cell.

Her eyes drew sharply onto the torch across from her. Her fingers slipped together into a string of handsigns.

Remember what Sensei taught us. Focus, channel, release.

Her eyes tried to focus onto the... the torch.

Things went fuzzy for a moment as she adjusted her eyes. The ever shifting flame escaped her eyes.

Damn it.

Moving her eyes onto the torch again, she tried to perform the substitution technique. Steps echoed nearby down the hall. Saeka's heart began to race as she quickly glanced to sides to see if it was approaching or not.

She would have to do this quickly. Her hands flushed into a rapid set of handsigns. She failed again. Quickly, she did it again, the light seeming to grow closer.

The light grew ever closer. A tall, looming shadow slid across the wall, torch shadow in hand. Her hands rushed another set flawlessly, but the jutsu simply wouldn't click in her mind.

Damn it. Damn it. Damn it!

The bulky thug approached her door."Ey, time for you to meet the owners- Hey, what the hell are you doing?!" Rushing quickly to stick his keys into the lock and stop her from utilizing her jutsu. Opening the door, he swung it open.

Instinctively, Saeka focused onto the torch one last time and pushed her mind into performing the technique. She Shifted her body with the torch and felt herself appear on the other end of the gates. The goon's hands grabbed onto the hot end of the torch as she changed places with it, and was burned viciously on the palms. A howl of pain escaped from him, soon followed by an angry growl. Saeka took no time to turn around and jam the door on him, turning the key and pulling it out with her, effectively locking her would-be captor into the cell.

"WHAT THE HELL LET ME THE F'CK OUT" He stretched his muscly hands from the bars. Saeka quickly backed across to the opposite wall, removing one of the torches nearby. Her feet propelling her to flee.

"DON'T RUN YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT. WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU YOU'LL WISH YOU STAYED IN THIS CELL."

Gasping for air desperately, Saeka took off in the opposite direction from which he came. The wind in her ears, she ran down the hallway. Keys jingling in her hand as the torch flickered quickly in and out of light. She threw it down and opposing pathway once she reached a fully lit hallway. Taking off in the opposite direction of her torch, she rested, gathering her breath in a shadowy corner behind a few barrels. Her chest heaved as she tried to catch her breath. The sound of angry men and quick footsteps neared.

"Where the [badword] is she?!" One voiced called from afar.

"She can't get too far. The gates are locked."

"The keys were with Moritomo when he went to pick her up, she could unlock it."

"It's not an obvious path, she probably went towards one of the other cells, which are dead ends. You gotta know where it is, anyways."

"Anyways, split up and block her off at the gates if anything, she can't find them without us finding her first."

"...wait, isn't this the torch she took?"

"Yeah... holy shit, she's going towards a dead end, get her!"

The sounds of their footsteps caught up as she sat behind the crates. Their sounds faded into nothing. Slowly peeking her head out, there was no one there.

Catching her breath, she knew that her dash would have to be a quick one. She also didn't know if one or more of them went to the gates to catch her. It was still worth trying. Her escape was possible, at least.

She had to get out of here.

Grabbing onto the keys into her palm, allowing the individual ring holding them to hang down, muting the sound of them hitting each other.

Stepping cautiously, she moved out from the shelter of safety and towards one of the lit hallways again.

Proceeding, she began to make her way down the hallway. It grew wider and wider as the torches grew farther and farther apart and the air slowly grew more dry. She felt a burning in her calves and realized that she was on an upward incline. Light began to shine up ahead. Natural light poured out from windows.

The gate.

She ran up to see a ladder leading upward.

"THERE SHE IS."

Her heart stopped, the sight of four large men in the distance with torches blazing. Beastly and wild-eyed.

Making her way up the ladder, she looked up to see a manhole covering. Jamming the keys one by one in a panicked frenzy, she turned each one. Fretting, her hands shaking with each key change. They were climbing up by the time she had gotten the latch opened and pulled herself out of the underground passage way and into the room of an empty house.

Flinging the door open and running out of the house, she felt her leg jolt back from someone grabbing onto it. Her hands clawed forward as she screamed.

"No!" Saeka begged, being dragged back into the house. Her heart flipping in her rib cage out of sheer anguish. "Let me go!" She kicked and thrashed at her pursuer.

"You slippery little bitch." He snarled, grabbing both of her hands and pulling her back.

He stopped, though. "The [badword]..."

Saeka looked upwards to see another figure blocking the bigger man from pulling her back into the house.

Kiyoshi sat in a tree, watching the house, messing with something as he waits for someone to leave the building. He glances up a moment later, right when two people leave the house, a male and a female. Kiyoshi falls from his place in the tree, landing easily on the ground before appearing before the two. He gives them both a big smile before speaking. "Hello, I seem to be lost and need some directions..." Kiyoshi just stares at the man, moreso at the knife that was just pulled out. Kiyoshi spread his arms, giving the man a smirk. "Come at me bro."

A flurry of action later, the man fell with his own knife in his throat, the woman opened her mouth to scream, but was slammed against the side of the house a moment later, being held up by the throat. Kiyoshi puts a finger to his lips. "Okay, now that we got that out of the way, you are going to be asked questions, and I expect answers. Now, is this where slaves a-" Kiyoshi just ran his hand through his hair as the door slams open, hitting him. He pushes it closed what seemed to be a slaver chasing down a little girl. Kiyoshi takes a step over, so that he is in front of the door, forcing the woman down to her knees beside him. "Well look at this! I don't even need to ask questions this time, the answers just fling themselves at me! You, bandit slaver guy, you are going to hand that girl you have there over to me, or this lady gets it. Got it?"

The bandit slaver just laughs. "That just means we get our money back, go ahead."

Kiyoshi frowns, then looks down at the woman. "Useless piece of shit, aren't you?" Then just gives his hand a twist, snapping her neck. He looks back up at the bandit. "Mmkay, new plan, you give her to me and I treat you like a loose end, instead of just killing you now. So just hand her over to me... you know what? This is boring. [badword] doing this." Kiyoshi takes a sudden step forward, a sword forming in his hand within seconds, stabbing the bandit in the throat. He grabs Saeka with his free hand at the same time, pulling her over to him. Kiyoshi glances down at the girl, then up at the forest before sighing and picking her up with his left hand, easily holding her. "I normally would tell you to go find your own way home, but since you clearly aren't a sheep and this is in the middle of nowhere, you get to watch me murder a bunch of slavers! Isn't that fun!?" Just then, the door tried to open again and hit Kiyoshi, who instantly shoved his elbow back into it, slamming it closed again.

He then turns and takes four steps back, clearing the door as they try to push it open again. The three men spill out, reaching for weapons the moment that they spotted Kiyoshi. A lazy sword swing and suddenly all three were dead, instantly cut in half. "So what's your name? I just can't call you little girl, that'd be rude. Oh, I'm Kiyoshi by the way, nice to meet you." He walks through the now open door, stepping over the dead bobies, only pausing for a second to grab the key ring out of the lock. He offers it to Saeka. "You get to be my helper today, I need someone to unlock everything while I kill everyone who had a hand in this. Just yell for me if you run into a problem, kay?"

Saeka's eyes watched in cold silence as this random man had happened to effortlessly kill her previous captors and those who had feigned her adoption. Her hands clutched at the tattered rags over her chest as she watched. They were merely powerless before him, they fell like twigs before his seemingly effortless swipes.

"So what's your name? I just can't call you little girl, that'd be rude. Oh, I'm Kiyoshi by the way, nice to meet you."

"You get to be my helper today, I need someone to unlock everything while I kill everyone who had a hand in this. Just yell for me if you run into a problem, kay?"

Saeka blinks, setting herself down from the man's grip. Looking up to him, she keeps her eyes calm, despite having seen him brutally murder three people first hand. Her hands rest on her upper thighs as she does a respectful bow of thanks. "Thank you, first and foremost." Rising up again, she keeps a faltered but thankful frown, she speaks up once more. "My name is Saeka." Looking to his hands, she extends out her palms for the keys. Once she gets them, she slowly begins to unlock the doors to the house.

Although she doesn't ask questions as to why the man wanted to kill these people, she had no choice but to work with him if she wanted to live. Not that she didn't want to deny the idea at all. She honestly did agree with his idea of wanting to kill of anyone involved in the operation.

Although... was it a bit much not to ask questions where they were due? Her eyes cautiously examined around as she thought of why those people had started this circle, and what they were doing. Weren't any of them bold enough to explain what was going on? Even though Saeka had a general idea, she discovered a hunger in herself to find out the specifics of these people's actions.

As they finished picking through the house, Saeka and Kiyoshi approached the manhole from which she came to salvation... or what one could call salvation. Her hands froze in slight terror. Her last desire was to go back down there when she had just escaped from the maze-like terrors below.

Looking up to Kiyoshi, she narrowed her eyes in displeasure. "Are we going down there, too?"

Kiyoshi smiles down at Saeka. "Yes, yes we are, but don't worry, nobody will touch you while I'm around, that I can promise you." With that, he takes a step, dropping easily through the hole and landing softly. A quick scan to make sure no one was coming down the tunnel, then he turns, lifting his hands up towards the hole. "Jump down, I'll catch you." He waits for Saeka to work up the courage to leap, then easily catches her, putting her safely on the ground and absently pats her on the head.

He turns and begins to walk, only pausing to grab a torch. A few moments later they came to an slightly opened door. Kiyoshi pulls it open a bit more, spying a few sleeping forms scattered around on different beds. He pauses for a moment, thinking, then tosses the torch into the room before closing the door, pulling out a second weapon to jam it closed. "Well, that takes care of them, now we just need to find the rest of them." Kiyoshi stops, finally seeing what she was wearing.

"What!? We can't have you wearing those rags, they aren't suited for you at all. Come on, off with that." Kiyoshi didn't wait for her to take it off herself, but instead quickly pulled it over her head and tosses it aside. He gives her a quick glance before starting to pull clothes out of thin air. First the undergarments, then followed quickly by a pair of jean shorts and a gray shirt. A pair of socks appears in his hand and he stops, looking down at her feet. He glances around, spotting a door. A moment later it was open and he was peering inside to see the cook. A knife throw later, the man was dead and Kiyoshi was gathering some supplies. He was back in the tunnel right when Saeka finished dressing herself, setting a stool down. "Sit, we need to clean your feet before you put socks on, or whats the point?" Kiyoshi places a hand on her shoulder, gently guiding her to the stool, using a wet rag to quickly wipe her feet down before passing her the socks and putting a pair of brand new boots in front of her. "There we go! Now you look presentable. Ok, come on, we got things to do." As he turned and continued down the tunnel, the slavers that were asleep finally woke from the heat of the flames. A pounding could be heard on the door, the slavers yelling to be let out. As they walked, the yells changed, turning into screams of pure terror.

Saeka's eyes watched nervously as this man produced clothing for her out of thin air. She made a quick mental note to the fact that he could produce these things, but her mind drew her focus to other things like the fact that she was yet again alone with another man in a cell area who was stripping and redressing her. When he reached out to touch her clothing for the first time she actually flinched. Her mind registering fear when he approached. Her body curled inward awkwardly in a reflexive attempt to cover herself and shield her body from this man's touch. Really, she had no interest in letting another man touch her after having one brutishly remove her clothing without even so much as consent. It seemed this Kiyoshi wasn't the type to be gentle, if at all. Her eyes turned down to the floor, quietly relenting as she reasoned the thought that he was actually helping her get clothed and was aiding her.

Her shoulders slumped in relaxation, not from easing her discomfort but rather her trying to fight or fear Kiyoshi.

When she was dressed finally, she kept her eyes down. Her head felt heavy and stuffy and she didn't want to be here. The adrenaline of her running away was making her ears throb. The counteracting sensation, however was the idea that getting revenge and hopefully causing a bruise or halt to this operation of kidnapping had kept her motivated. She also had always wanted to shadow one of the higher Jounin, and this man seemed to offer quite the experience that many would find enviable.

As they proceeded down the hallways, Saeka found herself returning in the same way they had returned. Following a slight bit closer to Kiyoshi for fear of falling behind and getting caught yet again. The empty hallway punctuated by the flickering torches brought back to her the uneasy feeling of helplessness. She didn't like that thought, just because it felt so passive. She had tried to do something, but in that short window of time... she had nothing to do but really wait.
Wait... for even the chance of escape and not even the guarantee of it.

The cries and threats of the man within her cell haunted her ears as they drew closer. It seemed that in their haste or lack of keys had forgotten him. Maybe thieves weren't so thick as the saying goes.

Kiyoshi and Saeka finally pulled up to the cell that she was locked in, and the same man was located within. His eyes were wild as he looked at the pair staring across from him. Her hand rised to strike the man straight across his face, but it froze halfway through.

Her body couldn't find it within itself to commit to the action.

Strike him... Strike him!

Kiyoshi gently pulls the young girl back from the cage, keeping his hands on her shoulders as he leans down to whisper to her. "You need to face your fear, or this man will haunt you for the rest of your life." He pulls a dagger out of his coat, pressing it into her hands, making sure she has a firm grip on it. "When you strike, don't hesitate. I believe in you." He straightens up, pulling the keys out of her free hand and tossing them over to the man in the cage, his hands resting on her shoulders.

The bandit grabs the keys, quickly forcing them into the lock and twisting it open, a snarl coming out of his throat. He starts to walk at the pair, murder in his eyes. Just when he was in reach of Saeka, his eyes were suddenly drawn to Kiyoshi's. Time seems to slow down, not able to see anything but the glowing blue eyes staring back at him. Fear grips him as he finally figures out exactly what he is fighting, but then it was too late. Kiyoshi speaks, talking to Saeka but never taking his eyes off of the man. "Stab him, free yourself from his control." He edges her on, his voice taking on a honey-like tone, making Saeka act.

Kiyoshi's hand slipped the blade into her own. His hand secured a solid grip on it for her. She clung to the blade, not because she had to. The primal urge to clench onto something in sheer fear of what was before you. The innate human desire to fight... or flee.

"Face your fear."

"Don't hesitate."

"Stab him, free yourself from his control."

Her heart beat double time as Kiyoshi stepped towards the door and began to slowly unlock it. Her throat welled up, saliva began to back up. Her posture poised with the dagger presented before her. Just jab him, she knew. She knew, the absolute truth of it all, that in this mere moment that she was supposed to stab him.

Chills crossed her knees, her face, rushing across the back of her neck whispering to her that she couldn't do it. She was too afraid. No one had told her to kill someone before. She knew it was part of her life, but like this?!

The thief lunged forward. His arms extended forward to retrieve the blade from Saeka. Saeka had to step back, he was too close. She drew her blade back and slashed in front of her, jamming the blade into the hard cartilage of his nose. Red glistened in the light of the torches. Blood, spilled.

Wild anger flared up in his eyes. "You F--king c-nt!" Rampant, he claws mercilessly. His hands grabbing at cold, wet air.
His hand connects with her wrist. The large appendage clamps down upon her tiny wrist. Pain begins to surge up her arm and toward her neck.

"I'LL KILL YOU."

Saeka squirms in his grasp, she can't hesitate. Taking a quick moment, she plunges the blade into his hand. He withdraws, and with that, she jabs it into the soft, squishy nature of his belly.

Leaking onto the floor, his blood glistens with an almost mythic quality. Mirror-like, but darkened and murky.

He gags for a moment, curling over.

Stepping forward to the man, she stands over his bent over body. Lifting the blade, she jams it deeply into the back of his neck, twisting the blade's handle as much as she can.

An agonized scream echoes throughout the halls. Saeka steps back, her hands searching for something to hold onto. She props herself up against a wall before sinking to the floor. "I...I... I..."

Kiyoshi watches Saeka kill the man, not even attempting to interfere, knowing that she had to do this herself, or be forever trapped by the fear that was placed in her. He waits until the man's heart stopped beating, then walks over to Saeka and crouches down, pulling her into a hug. Kiyoshi just holds her for a while, letting the knowledge of what she had done sink in before speaking. "You did nothing wrong Saeka. Nothing at all. Now let's get you out of these bloody clothes."

Kiyoshi shift himself so that he is sitting on the floor and she is in his lap, then begins to pull the blood soaked clothes off one by one, putting them in a pile off to the side. While he works, he makes sure to keep her right by him, so he can be some comfort to her while she works through this, until finally all the clothes were gone and she was sitting on his lap in her birthday suit. He pulls a rag out, making sure to get it wet before beginning to wipe off whatever blood remained. He drops the rag on the pile of bloody clothes, then pulls a pair of black and red stripped panties out, followed shortly by a dark red training bra. He puts the training bra on her, then slides the panties onto her, before pulling out a pair of black tights and putting them on her too. Kiyoshi then pulls out a dark red short sleeved shirt and slides that over her head, putting her arms through easily. Next was a black skirt, of which he also put on her, finishing her outfit with a black cardigan. After that, he pulls out a pair of shoes, simple black flats, which he easily put onto her feet.

Kiyoshi just sits there for a few more minutes, holding Saeka in a sort of a hug, then finally stands up, still holding her. "We should get out of here, I'll make sure you safely get back home." With that, he starts to walk towards the exit, removing anyone who tries to get in his way with ease.

Saeka keeps herself speechless over the time that she registers what she had done. She had legitimately killed someone when she hadn't been attacked in the first place. No, wait... He attacked. He was vicious. Kiyoshi is the one that let him out of the cell, though. He wouldn't have attacked if Kiyoshi didn't let him out of the cell. She wouldn't have had to defend herself if he didn't attack her. It was in self-defense.

Self-Defense? She hadn't said a word before Kiyoshi had opened it. She could have stopped this mess all together. Her hands had been stained with his blood. If anything, she could have ran behind this strange man that had randomly decided to help her. He shouldn't have left a child to do the deed at all.

She felt her mind's scales go back and forth, back and forth, in her mind as she thought of what to feel over the situation.

What frightened her more was that she was thinking of it. She wasn't hyperventilating or anything of the sort as she tried to evaluate her own actions.
Her mind was clouded indeed by the overall shock of it all, but her body had been keeping deathly silent as this man began to speak and change her. The cold air on her exposed flesh as she stood naked before him as he changed her didn't even seem to register across her milky skin.

Her mind was elsewhere, honestly. Her body had been checked out from the moment the blade sunk into his skin.

She had really killed someone.

She was only in her early teens.

She felt his arms pick her up, the two made their way out. Walking through the darkened hallways, returning upwards to the surface entrance. As they made their to the ladder leading to the surface, Saeka finally spoke. "I need to go to the Police quarters and report this instance." She speaks calmly, her eyes looking up the ladder. "...I might have to turn myself in at the same time."

Kiyoshi sighs to himself at the word police, but doesn't say a word as he leaps out of the hole they are in, landing easily back in the house before looking down at the girl he was holding in his arms. "Okay, I can point out which way Ame is, but I still have unfinished business here, so I won't be able to walk you there. Will you be alright by yourself?"

As he speaks, Kiyoshi makes his way to the front door, setting Saeka down outside, past the bodies and blood, and patting her on the head. "Take care little one, don't do anything silly." He gives her a warm smile before turning and heading back into the house.
