Lights Out [Love]

The many towns and cities tucked in the crevices of the world, uncontrolled by any formal power. Some are friendly. Others, not so much.

Lights Out [Love]

Two full days and a night had passed since the incident at the safe-house that had injured Keiichi and cost Asuka one of her bodies. The zoo had gone quiet during the night, normally music, shouting, fighting and other loud noises filled the area inside and around the base but ever since the attack the members of the gang had been forbidden from such activities in the base, with only a group of members being allowed to enter until the early morning for security purposes. The lack of noise made it perfect for everyone not on guard to sleep, except for one man, one that no longer felt a need for things like eating, sleeping or even breathing, an undead man called Ashura.

Ashura wandered the zoo the whole night, rumors about his aimless wandering surfaced amongst those on guard as many found it just plain creepy and some had caught quite a fright. This wasn't just due to the wandering but also because of Ashura's change in mood when alone, the man that was usually loud, dumb and lecherous became quiet and distant whenever alone as if his mind was elsewhere and his body was stuck on auto-pilot. The fact that Ashura behaved like an actual zombie at night was the most frightening thing about him.

Elsewhere a man slept on a couch, a blanked had be placed over him by a friend after he had wandered off to dream land. It had been a very tiresome couple of days for Shou, the fact that Keiichi had yet to wake up and Seiiteki was out doing whatever she wanted made him more-or-less the second-in-command in charge of keeping the gang from imploding. He had taken over work from Keiichi before but never taken full control for extended periods of time and while he had done a great job in the opinion of many, it drain him of his energy making the man that used to go out drinking nearly every night, go to sleep earlier than most.

In her chambers was a queen surrounded by her subjects, they had their fun and now the bodies craved rest. Queen had never left her chambers ever since the day Keiichi had been brought in by Asuka and nobody but her "loyal subjects" knew what she was up to but taking a look at the current state it was safe to say that whatever she had been doing was put into the backseat in exchange for a little "fun" with her toys. Only a few members of the gang had witnessed Queen sleeping, not counting her servants, and and it was a sight to behold as while she slept Queen's body kept changing in appearance, each couple of seconds turning into a different person but never showing her true face.

Saint slept in Miki's room with her arms around the younger girl, the two were always close but after the attack Miki had been more afraid than ever, something Saint could not let be. During the big attack on the zoo Miki was playing cards with Shou and Saint, cleaning out their wallets with great ease but the moment all hell broke loose she hid herself, this had proven to be mistake for the second she split from the two one of the assassins found her, she would have been killed were it not for Saint sensing the man and coming back for her. Ever since then Saint and Miki were inseparable while at the zoo, mostly because Miki clung to the platinum at all times.

It was hard to tell what Taka was doing, his eyes had been open for hours but remained unblinking as he simply sat in front of the prisoner who was sleeping soundly. It was something known by all, Taka always slept with his eyes open, but it was always unnerving especially since he seemed to be capable of sleeping even in the middle of a party yet still be capable of reacting to even the slightest movements near him. In the two days since the prisoner had been in the basement, Taka never moved, he ate only what Saint was kind enough to bring him but aside from that he just stayed there, sitting down and facing the one he was supposed to guard.

Keiichi was still in the same bed he had been left in a couple of days before, the doctor had returned the day after to check on his injuries and when Shou asked him why he hadn't woken up yet the answer was that he simply needed more time than expected to recharge. Apparently Keiichi's healing ability was absurdly high due to his demon's influence but at the same time it used up a ridiculous amount of energy, taking its toll on the body it was healing and the damage he had taken was quite severe, one that would have normally killed a man and blown his body apart. The door to where he slept was guarded by two gold members, two skilled fighters of the gang who seemed to worship Shou and follow his word like law, so if he told them to guard the boss, then that was what they would do at the cost of their lives.

Asuka had spent her days training, her usual activity outside of smoking and drinking when she wasn't earning quick cash. With Keiichi still comatose, she grew increasingly restless, so the excursive helped keep her mind off of exactly how much she hated babysitting. She had mostly taken residence in the old lion exhibit, the large rock face served as a good target for her lightning techniques. Even though she should be more focused on developing her weaker element, she had been insistent on mastering a new, longer ranged, Raiton style maneuver.

Standing 20 meters out from the stone slab that once housed a pride of predatory cats, Asuka gripped her right forearm with her left hand to brace it as the free palm collected dense chakra in it and began to spark with electrical force. The charge built until she held a churning mass of lighting, which with the thrust of her hand shot out. A bolt, still connected with the palm, shot out and arch forward, the end of it taking a dragon-like shape just before crashing into the rock wall. However, it left little more than a crack as the still flowing bolt kept wiggling before trailing off as she lost control of her arm and the lightning died down. Controlling it was still a bit much, but the fact that she wasn't getting much sleep didn't help the matter.

While her days were spent training, her nights had taken to outside the zoo grounds, though she had kept that all a secret. She had spent them mingling among the gang members that had kept up a ruckus every night. However, they were none the wiser since her face through all of this looked just like the ranks of one of their own. Only the corpse Ashura had seen the face she had taken after the interrogation, and that loon was too zombified at night to be able to call her out among the crowd of the increasingly unruly rank and file gang members.

With a sweat built up on her brow, she disappointingly looked at the minimum damage with her one exposed eye. Though she had been spending her nights pretending to be someone else, she was glad to be back in her own body considering how long she had spent within those of the opposite sex. There was, after all, no place like home.

Wrapping it up for the day, Asuka didn't turn in to rest. Instead, she made her way for the building that housed the still unconscious leader of the gang. It was the first time she had come around since leaving to even up her fold. At the doorway, she was greeted by the two golds stationed outside for protection, or rather she was met with them. Their loyalty to Shou shown threw as not even the "mighty" Obsidian was allowed straight passage.

"Listen, you nimrod, I don't have time for this bull from a glorified doorman, get your @ss in there and find Shou before I make you sorry for not." She barked with a very disgruntled look across her face.

"Tsk, freaking Obsidian. You can't give us orders yah know?"

Kyou spoke with utter disdain toward Asuka as he leaned against the wall behind him and stroke the sword around he waist. Kyou had always and forever will be a follower of the Cannibal, he had an admiration for the man that was unmatched by anyone else and grew his skills in combat with the sole purpose of being useful to who he thought was the rightful boss of the gang. The only reason he was guarding a man he didn't believe in was because it came as a direct order from Shou and like a loyal dog he wagged his tail and obeyed.

"Yo check it! You is an obsidian, you ain't got no say here. Lowbies may follow yah but we ain't gotta, dig? Ain't no one gettin' in!"

Nicknamed Usagi, a cute name not matching his physic of a 6'6" heavily muscled man, he was another follower of Shou though his loyalty was much weaker, being mostly focused on the fact that out of the Platinums, Shou had always been the one to take the best care of the golds following him personally. And in a way he was right, Asuka being an Obsidian held no real power within the gang, in a way she was mostly like an outside mercenary however most of the gang members viewed Obsidians in the same way as Platinums so a distinction was rarely made and they followed orders anyway...not that there were many obsidians giving orders.

"That's cute, does that mean I can't get in without Shou-chan's permission either?"

The two turned around with angry expressions on their faces when they heard heard the woman's voice from the opposite side of Asuka. The fact that a woman, that anybody dared call Shou so personally to their faces was a great insult and that made them just about ready to bash her face in...until they saw who it was.
The green haired, red eyed woman in the white dress and black hat was half the size of Usagi yet the shock from seeing made him fall back on his behind while Kyou just froze in place.

"I'll take that as a 'no' then."

She said with a short giggle and walked right past the men that were frozen in place and opened the door. Before entering she turned to Asuka and gave her a smile while signaling to follow.

"Come right in, Black Widow."

Once inside the woman turned on the lights without any regard for the one sleeping inside, not that he would wake up due to them anyway, and proceeded to sit down on a chair next to a desk opposite to Keiichi's bed. After sitting she took a look at Asuka and signaled for her to close the door before taking off her black hat, letting her long green hair fall down to her lower back and finally began taking off her shoes.

"Really needed to sit down, I hate these heels but they look so damn good on me."

Taking off her shoes completely the woman snuck a glance at the sleeping Keiichi and then at the door where she knew the two guards were probably starting to compose themselves.

"Really now, Shou-chan worries too much. Putting up guards was useless, even someone were to come in while he was sleep..."

She opened a drawer on the desk, took out a concealed kunai and without any hesitation whatsoever threw it right at Keiichi's throat with great accuracy and precision. The kunai came inches away from poking a hole in his neck but before the tip reached him a black ethereal hand formed from his chest and grabbed the the kunai. Moments later the hand began to move as a body made completely of black chakra started to form over Keiichi with the two golden eyes being the only distinctive feature of the apparently female body that began taking form. A low growl like a wild animal was suddenly heard from the chakra being as it had its eyes completely focused on the woman yet the green haired one simply waved at it as if mocking the chakra being who soon fell apart and returned to Keiichi's body.

"See? She doesn't sleep and is quite protective of her host. It's very cute if you ask me."

She said and then turned back to Asuka, still smiling.

"But now I wonder, why did the great Black Widow suddenly wish to see my sleeping brother in the middle of the night? OH my, am I perhaps intruding on something.......personal?"

"You two lovebirds be sure to keep each other company now." Asuka scoffed as she passed between the two watchdogs at the door, following behind Keiichi's sister. She would have given a wink with it, if it wasn't for her eyepatch making every one of them look no different from a blink. Other than that, the only thing the brutes received was the clap of the door.

Asuka was surprised to see Keiichi's sister, or at least see her not in some kind of orgy. The woman was one of the last major figures of the gang she had not met, but from what she had heard she was rather lively to say the least. For a moment Asuka could have mistaken her for another one of Queen's illusions with the green hair and getup. She made herself known rather quickly though, plus the eye that made it impossible for Asuka to wink would have picked up on the chakra of a genjutsu.

Asuka stood on the opposite side of Keiichi's roost as her new hostess, watching intently as the black mass rose to guard against the projectile before murmuring back down. She didn't even need any special vision to be able to witness the spirit at play, though the Yamanaka woman wished the ordeal hadn't happened since it agitated the demon's chakra, which was exactly opposite the reason she had come to call.

"You might say that, though not with your definition of the word." Asuka said glaring over to the looser woman. The Black Widow might use a different person's body to court a person into letting their guard drop, but some people weren't quite so professional when it came to their intimacies. However, that didn't mean that it wasn't a personal reason that Asuka had shown up. It all related back to her time spent with Keiichi in the safe house prior to the attack that had put him in this comatose state. The prediction the rude woman had made seemed to be unraveling. It didn't take a long canvas of the gang to see it ripping apart at the seams, and without Keiichi to hold it all together the whole thing might as well be one giant bottle of chaos.

"Let's just say I don't trust doctors." She said moving to the head of the bed, putting her close to the white hair atop the man's noggin. "Plus as far as I can tell, I'm the only one capable of moving into unconscious minds, which I was planning to do provided the demon your just provoked doesn't shut me out!" She snapped. Asuka hated possessing a body with a second spirit in it. It was actually quite dangerous to do since her abilities only let her suppress a single consciousness. However, she wasn't planning to suppress anything. In fact it was more the opposite.

She placed a hand upon Keiichi's white scalp and closed an eye for concentration as she tried to push her consciousness into the body before her in order to communicate. The demon could block her out, but if she didn't, Asuka would be caught somewhere between two places. Her body would still be in the room with a slumbering Shou and an unwelcome witness, and she'd still be able to speak with them. However, the Yamanaka's mind would be drawn into Keiichi's unconscious. His demon would be privy to her presences, but more importantly Asuka would be subject to a near infinite world she did not have control of, like stepping into Keiichi's dream. It could be anything, but only if she made it through the gatekeeper.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, it's not Him...oh she's already doing it...fine then. Good luck, you'll need it."

Seiteki attempted to issue a warning toward Asuka however by the time she said anything it seemed like the Black Widow had already started on her mind technique, whether she intentionally took too long to give the warning or it was by mistake, it's a debate for another time. Regardless when Asuka started, Seiteki got to her feet and headed for the door, leaving the two alone in the room. It wasn't that she trusted Asuka enough to leave her alone with a defenseless Keiichi but rather because he wasn't defenseless at all, if anything she truly believed that even if Asuka attempted anything fishy then she'd be dead not too long after...plus the possible outcomes seemed interesting to her, whether ending was good or bad. Even if they didn't look like it, the two of them were twins and shared a similar view of the world and their lives, they simply had different ways of handling things.

Entering Keiichi's mind in his current state would only lead someone to one place, the place where the dark one resided. Asuka would find herself in the middle of a heavily crowded street with the sun high up in the sky, an unexpected place when delving into the mind of someone else but this was a place created by the demon herself using Keiichi's own memories. The memory in particular was that of when he was still a young child, during a fine day when he and his siblings were taken shopping by their mother. It was almost impossible to keep track of the family, the mother a green haired and very young woman around Asuka's age with a face filled with large scars and stitches, pushing along a stroller with two babies, a white haired boy and a red haired girl and right next to the mother were the twin siblings, the girl with long green hair and the boy with blue hair and striking golden eyes holding hands with each other.

The family passed by Asuka, following the wave of people and soon vanishing into the crowed but as they did a voice called out from right behind Asuka.

"What are you doing here?"

Behind Asuka was a stunningly beautiful woman with long white hair, golden eyes and clad in black. The woman bore a great resemblance to the black chakra woman that appeared to kill the attackers back at the safe house however this one looked much older and mature than the previous one.

"I'm busy right now but if you're trying to do anything to Kei...I will destroy you."

Her golden eyes glared fiercely in Asuka's direction while her arms and hands turned completely black and began changing into a pair of monstrous claws, ready to rip Asuka apart if she attempted to do anything stupid. Unlike Seiteki, the one known as Kurohime by others was fiercely protective of her host and she held no interest in possibly entertaining outcomes, she only looked for the safety of Keiichi.

The world seemed to fabricate itself in an instant for Asuka, who just before appearing on solid ground had the feeling of falling. She had been expecting a dark place, a war torn mind, a cage. Yet, none of her expectations seemed valid as she took in the sight of the sunny, and busy, main street nestled between a row of shops. It did not take long before the one-eyed girl took in a glance of who she knew to be Keiichi, though a much younger one than what she was expecting. The white hair of the man was a dead give away, though the mind reader could no sooner tail the overburdened mother of four before she was startled from behind.

Turning, Asuka's hand instinctively gripped onto the hilt of her large sword as she was faced with the more seasoned white haired demon. Upon recognition of who it was, her hand loosened. It forewent its grip and instead settled for a relaxed resting place at the end of the hilt, palm on end with fingers unclenched. "You know d@mn well me being here puts me in a vulnerable state I don't care much for." The mind, even one without a demon guardian, was a daunting labyrinth. Navigating it was near impossible without sedating a host, and quite frankly Asuka didn't have the skill in Fuuinjutsu that was needed dig through all the depths that could be reached. If anything, she hand landed herself on one of the top levels. "The only thing I'm trying to do is talk with Keiichi, and try and find out what's keeping him down here. He's had enough chakra to be kicking for days." The wall she hadn't crossed until Seiteki had gained her access weren't enough to keep the sensor from gauging the progress of the recuperating gang leader. "You said you're busy, does that mean its you? I'm my experience, it's usually from some self-affliction that people don't want to wake up."

It wasn't necessarily the demon keeping Keiichi under, if the gang leader didn't want to return he could keep himself comatose for months on end. However, Asuka wasn't the kind to let herself be intimidated by the demon girl, which was why her tone had her usually crassness within it.

A woman's scream suddenly cuts through the crowed and Kurohime immediately turns in its direction with a wide smile on her face, Asuka's existence was completely ignored for a moment as there was something more important that warranted her attention. The crowed between her and the origin of the scream seemed to turn transparent as if to allow the white haired woman to see the events unfolding. A few feet away a blue haired boy sat on top of a man's chest as the adult laid on the ground with his arms spread open, in the boy's hand was a butterfly knife already covered in blood which the boy plunged several times into the man's neck. The woman screaming in horror was a scantly clad woman standing next to the dead man and next to her was the green haired girl giving her a glare that no five year old should be capable of making. The children's mother? She was a few feet ahead tending to the babies in the stroller and ignoring the scene behind her.

"Isn't he so cute? A young Kei is just so adorable I could just...hmmmmmm."

Kurohime's black claws return to normal hands as she wraps one arm around her stomach and the other covers her mouth. The adult woman had what could best be described as a pervert's expression on her face, as if seeing the blue haired child killing a man got her beyond excited, so excited that a bit of drool escaped her mouth.
The whole area suddenly dissolved and a whole new one appeared. Kurohime and Asuka stood in the middle of what looked to be an old and abandoned facility, in the distance a teenage blue haired boy, green haired girl and a slightly younger white haired boy stood talking.

"What I do in here is none of your business...but you're wrong if you think I'm capable forcing Kei to do anything."

Hime said turning back to Asuka, her silly perverted look had vanished and her eyes were dead serious.

"I can't talk to him unless he wants to, this place is just a little corner of his mind I carved out to keep myself safe...he hasn't been in here ever since the attack so I have no idea of what's going on. To be honest I'm fine with things like this...it just means he's less likely to get hut again."

She didn't admit it but the lack of communication was bothering her, it was a downside of the current situation that she hated above all else however looking on the bright side she also had him all to herself while keeping him out of trouble. Hime turned her back to Asuka and kept looking at the scene in the distance as the two boys started arguing loudly over something that couldn't be heard at that distance.

"But if you want to wake him up then go ahead. Just know that you're leaving the only safe room in this place."

Not even turning around to face Asuka, Hime snapped her fingers and the world around Asuka would dissolve into nothingness. The "world" before Asuka would be shrouded in complete darkness, she would find herself floating in mid air but just moving around would feel like being submerged in a tub of slime. There was no sound or smell, not even from Asuka herself and her body should feel slightly numb taking away much of the sense of touch.

This was the world Hime went to great lengths to protect herself from and the true world inside Keiichi's mind. A world where your senses are taken away and you're left with nothing...a boring place, mind numbingly so.

Asuka watched around the shoulder of the white haired demon. Her curiosity got the best of her from the reaction the spirit had to watching the memory unfold. The odd reaction wasn't the only thing that attracted the woman, though the fetish was the most interesting. However, the Yamanaka had assumed that Keiichi was the white haired child being tended to by the mother, not the blue haired one that was pulling a knife out of someone's chest.

"That's Kei--" She didn't have time to say anything further before the situation changed again, melting away into dust before rearranging into a different memory. That was the thing she hated the most about diving into the mind like she was. It was like being in a dream where the subconscious could change everything at random. However, instead of being her own inner thoughts, it was the consciousness of who she was inside that dictated the rules. Physics themselves couldn't be counted on, but at least they were most likely so long as she was being anchored to memories that had actually happened.

"Safe from what, exactly?" The fact that this two went unanswered started to hint to why she hated demons. The choice to go further into Keiichi's mind, though she would have elected to in the first place, was taken away from her at the world evaporated and the Yamanaka woman became smothered by blackness. Submerged in a binding abyss, the only thing that saved the numbed woman was her own prowess with the mind.

Forming a concentration sign, the creeping darkness was held off from her some allowing her to seemingly swim through the void. However, it wasn't the only sign she made before progressing. Two most simply signs created the equivalent of Raiton in the metaphysical world, becoming a spark of lightning in her hand. The surge brightened up things, and while it didn't change her surroundings, as they were still completely black, it did allow her to see her own body.

Randomly moving through the mind wasn't going to get her anywhere fast. At the epicenter she'd be able to sort through stores of information, but this wasn't really a theft of thought mission. Instead, she did the only thing she was truly capable in a condition like this. She thought.

While she had a very short history with Keiichi, she could try and influence a memory to come about. Getting herself to one of their shared memories, the strip club or the mansion. However, those weren't the ones Keiichi was likely to be focusing on, so she went with something more general. Closing her eye, Asuka started thinking about a father. Not her father, but Keiichi's. She didn't really know anything about him, other than that Keiichi had some serious daddy issues, as was evident from when they had chattered. Hopefully that was the thing he wanted to sort out.

Re: Lights Out [Love]

PostPosted by Ryuuchi » Fri Sep 27, 2013 10:01 pm

A distant light faded into existence within the murky darkness, a soft white light that seemed to steadily grow brighter and larger in size until suddenly the speed at which it grew multiples several times, eventually overtaking the darkness completely. When the now blinding light died down Asuka would find herself in the middle of a street, a heavy rain poured down, the road was filled with mud and above all...corpses. Several dead bodies littered the street, their blood mixing with the water and mud but it wasn't long before the dead bodies began jerking around in a strange manner and started stumbling back to their feet, all the while with a vacant look in their eyes.

In the middle of the road was the main show however, a tall red haired man dressed in black clothing stood over a sitting young man with dark blue hair and red eyes who's body seemed to be shaking uncontrollably. The teenage boy tried to crawl away, his hands slipping on the mud underneath resulting in his body falling and becoming completely covered in mud but that did not stop him from still trying to get away, the red haired man's foot on the other hand managed to stop him completely. The red haired man's foot came down on the boy's chest, making his back sink into the mud as he shifted his weight into the leg over the boy and bent down to look his closer in the eye.

"How does it feel to not be in control for once in your life? Having fun yet?"

The boy seemed to be having difficulty breathing with a boot on his chest but that didn't seem to bother the man who instead pressed down with even more strength which was accompanied with the horrible sound of bones cracking. The boy grunted in pain and desperately tried to push the foot off but to no avail.

"I gave you so many choices yet you keep picking none of them, quite frankly it's starting to get on my nerves...you know I don't do well when people break my rules."

The boot finally released the boy's chest letting him breath deeply even through the pain that single action caused, however it wasn't for long since the next moment the man's right hand wrapped around the boy's neck and picking him up from the mud, lifting him off his feet.

"But being the wonderful dad that I am...I'll give you a couple of more chances! Let's start the game once again shall we?"

As he spoke, the dead walking around them started to move closer as the rain became even stronger like a curtain, making it hard to see what was happening anymore.

"Thanks Asuka...I really wanted to see that wonderful scene again, it gets me all warm and fuzzy inside."

The sarcasm came from Keiichi who seemed to appear from thin air next to Asuka, crouching down in the rain that was starting to soak the both of them to the bone. Unlike his younger self with blue hair and red eyes, this version was the same Keiichi that Asuka knew with his white hair and golden eyes.

"What are you doing here?"

"It's not like I wanted to experience it myself." She said turning towards the more current apparition. The scowl, typical for her, was even more pronounced due to the heavy beating rain drenching her metaphysical body. "Being here breaks personal protocols, but seeing as how you won't wake the f#^k up, I didn't see much any other option."

Asuka was stepping over two red flags as far as mental infiltration goes. The first was a personal choice about not liking hosts that had in them secondary spiritual presences. Luckily Keiichi's demon hadn't proven all too disagreeable, yet. The second was the more important one. Entering the mind of a comatose target was running a gambit between what was illusion and what was reality. Unlike someone naturally asleep in a dream, it wasn't really the subconscious creating the world around them. Instead the construct was built on everything in the target's mind, which made for a lot of flashbacks to memories. That was the rollercoaster Asuka had thrown herself into, and getting out of a mind that doesn't so much as want to wake itself up was no easy task.

"What, daddy never created any good memories for you to cherish?" She said rhetorically with a turn to her head to look back towards where the punishment she had just witnessed had transpired. Her single eye couldn't make out a thing past the downpour, so the woman turned her attention back towards Keiichi, or at least who could have been the man. "Are you the actual Keiichi, or just his mental image of himself?" She knew enough about this sort of thing to doubt that she had found his actual consciousness. It was altogether possible for her to even run into herself in here, though it would be better for the gang leader should she not. Were she to disagree with how Keiichi's mental of herself behaved she'd likely stick a knife in the man once she got back up to the real world. "I supposed it doesn't really matter since it all turns to flow one way in here."

"Nap time's over." She said coldly with a snap to her finger right in front of his face. "Whatever's keeping you here get over it and wake up already while there's still something to wake up to other than a riot or a coup."

Back up top, in the real world, Asuka stood motionless overtop Keiichi. Her mind had gone deep enough down that she couldn't hold a conversation any longer even if she had wanted to. Well, at least now with this extension of her consciousness, though even other ones weren't fairing so much better. In a bar not far off from the outskirts of the zoo, a whole gaggle of people associated with Karasu no Ha were becoming even more loud and rowdy as they became more intoxicated. However, there was one among them, a rather petite punkish girl, that sat rather quietly staring off into her beer that sat untouched in front of her.

"Rin, you alright girl?" A different woman busted in through the crowd, practically falling on the table from a combination of drugs and liquor coursing in her.

With a small shake to the head, the aloof girl seemed to be snapped out of her thought. "Fine." She responded with a slight tilt to her smiling head, a single twitch in her right eye. "Com'on, let's get out there." She said pushing herself up off the table before grabbing her friend by the arm and leading her back into the crowd. So long as the zombie stayed out of it and she could keep her mental constitution, no one needed to think she was anyone other than herself.

"You say that like a coup is anything to worry about. If I worried about those idiots trying to take over then I wouldn't have started the gang in the first place...I'm sure Shou's got a handle on it."

Keiichi spoke with a hint of boredom in his voice, like the prospect of having to go back and retain control over the gang of misfits was something he wasn't really looking forward to, like it was a shore he much rather pass on to someone else like Shou or even Asuka if need be. Then again, he knew that if he were to leave it to her...maybe the gang's numbers would be reduced considerably.

"But you know...I'm flattered that you worried enough about me to come find me even inside my own mind. Can't say it feels good knowing you're swimming inside my noggin all willie neely but still, it's the thought that counts. However your worries were not really needed you know, I'm here by choice...needed time to think about something."

What he wasn't telling her was that he had woken up a while before, however the only one to have seen him awake was none other than his sister who relayed a certain message regarding their father who left the most sour taste in his mouth. After hearing the news he decided to shut himself in for a bit, allow Hime a bit more freedom while he thought about something in particular, something he held to be much more important than the gang and the little war they were waging. However, Asuka's intentions were dully noted and she was right...there was no real point in staying under like that.

"Fine...the longer I stay under, the shittier things might get. Let's go."

He snapped his fingers and two things happened, he and Hime forced Asuka out of his mind while he woke up at the same time.

"So nice to know you're enjoying your little vacation." She said brashly as she crossed her arms and turned aside. Quickly turning back towards the man's consciousness her arms snapping apart as one of them flicked into a point. "You might not think much of a coup, but I'm not in this game for the long haul. I'd just as soon as loot your coffers in the chaos and make off with the spoils, maybe even pick up another body or two."

She didn't go into detail about why she didn't just settle for that plan. Her tone made one thing certain, that it wasn't for lack of confidence that she could pull it off. In the mix of all the factions infighting in open bloodshed, she'd likely get away with more than could keep her satiated for a long while.

"Finally...WAI--" Her relief over Keiichi's agreement to leave was replaced with sudden shock as the man raised his fingers. Her mental self was immediately evicted abruptly from Keiichi's skull. However, her awakening on the other end would not be so gentle as her body, still in contact with the man's forehead, was flung back against the wall. It hit her like a brick to the head, even if it was all psychological.

She slid down to into a heap on the floor, but shook it off as she pushed herself back up etching up the wall. "That's precisely why it hate a conscience mind." She said rubbing her backside. "At least you've got your demon on a tight leash. Now then, onto business." Her hand behind her suddenly pulled out her smaller black dagger and held it up to Keiichi's throat, her tone switching from simply annoyed to cold. "Now that I know you're not catatonic, what do you say we play this thing out?" She smirked as she lowered her blade. "See who turns? Putting it out that I just assassinated you could just be the spark to lit this powder keg."

Her knife sheathed back behind her. "Could be fun." She said with an eyebrow raised on her exposed socket.

Keiichi barely reacted when he felt the cold blade touch his skin, normally he would have instinctively turned his neck into his defensive black scales but instead he just sat there with a smirk. He knew she wouldn't actually do it, not that he trusted that she wasn't capable of killing him, he knew that given the chance for a higher pay she'd stab him in the back without batting an eye but he knew she was good at what she did. Simply put, if she wanted to kill him, Asuka would have done it while he was asleep as it would have been far easier. Sure Hime was protecting him then but even then handling a demon stuck inside an unmoving body was easier than handling a fully awake and capable owner of said demon. And the fact that she removed the knife right afterward proved him assumptions.

"I'll be perfectly honest..."

He said after listening to her plan while getting out of the bed an to his feet.

"...I haven't felt like pushing you down on this bed and do you right now as much as I am at this moment. Then again I kind of like the idea of keeping the assassination a fake...so I won't"

Her idea was actually kind of brilliant, sure it could go horribly wrong in some ways but the benefits far outweigh the cons. Keiichi truly did feel himself getting hotter for the one that brought forth the idea, she would probably stab him for real and steal all the money on the way out but in some ways he would probably enjoy it in his own sick and twisted way.

"Tell you what, let's make this look as realistic as possible."

As Keiichi spoke, his right side of the body became covered in black scales which soon began to shift and move out of his body as he took a step to the side. The black scales floated in mid air for a second before they began multiplying and taking shape, eventually taking the form of a human like silhouette which gradually gained more and more details. The whole process took a few seconds but after a while a whole new Keiichi stood right next to the original one, holding a blank look on its face which was very much unlike the still grinning real one to its left.

"It'll be far more believable if we have a body and tons of blood right? So how do you wanna do it? Knife in the throat? Cut to pieces? Heart beating before his eyes? These things can't die but they can simulate death pretty nicely."

Dragon clones were the ultimate cheat trick in a Kirinketsu's arsenal, clones that can't die unless drained of chakra but they held more uses other than the usual of letting them do all the fighting until the target can't go on. Doing the laundry, taking out the trash, buying groceries and of course, pretending to be their master's dead body in order to cause his group to believe he perished so as to push the ever looming in-fighting along and weed out the possible threats. Such useful little bastards.

"Seiteki will figure it out quickly though...but knowing her, she'll figure it out and play along."

It's a wonder she hadn't been the one proposing the idea sooner to be honest.

"And we'll need to find a play to hide in the meantime."

"Now you're turning me on!" She said digging her nails a little into the real Keiichi's shoulder looking at the duplicate of the man. It was an incredibly useful skill, as any body she could offer would be blatantly female, but with a solid clone her work would be all but realistic. "Ah, f^(k it, I'm going to jump your bone!"

She said just before she jumped at the clone and pinned it down on the bed Keiichi had just gotten off from. Straddling the double cowgirl style, she leaned in and started making out with the mirror image of Keiichi, intentionally trying to make the man jealous that it was his clone and not him that was caught beneath her. The rough bite to the clone's lower lip drew a little blood, though what came next drew more. Having slipped out her larger blade, the pointed tip piece straight into Keiichi's clones chest. She didn't stop with that though. Both her blades were used utile the corpse was more than mangled, blood splattered everywhere in a sadistic act that somehow still seamed sexual.

Dismounting and with her weapons back behind her, Asuka wiped away the blood that was immediately around her lips. "What, I sleep with most of my victims." The look alone of the mangled body left little doubt of whose handiwork it was.

"You'll need to work out a hiding spot, I'm sure you'll find something with a view." Starting to double-check all her attire, her belt, her arm brace, she made sure everything was strapped one tight in preparation. "The next move for me, of coarse, would be to head for the treasure trove." It would be her move were the assassination real. Make out with as much lout as possible before things rilled up. However, she didn't plan to sneak out quietly like a thief. This all had to be a big show for it to work, and as she made for the money it would give the others time to amass. "Remember, I'm the target in all this. The ones to come after me aren't much your concern. It's the ones that do something else you've got to watch for." Will they avenge their fallen leader, or will they try to take hold of power for themselves?

She cracked her neck to loosen things up, getting ready to burst through the door and kick this whole thing off. A smirk worn across her face, you could tell that she was confident. She'd have to be to put herself in such a position, as the only defense she would have other than her own skill would be the chaos that was about to erupt.

"Oh, you b.itch."

Was Keiichi's response along with a laugh as he watched the woman dry hump his clone and make it look as hot as possible on purpose just to mess with him. The clone, having no orders at the time, simply lay there and did nothing through the whole process, from the sexy bits to the vicious murdering ones. Those clones were like that, lifeless expressions from beginning to end, though they made for great decoys.

"A black widow indeed."

The way she seemed to enjoy killing something with his face, actually made Asuka even hotter in his eyes, his tastes were really not normal though his sister's influence might have had something to do with them growing up.

"We keep the money scattered through various places but the biggest load should be in the basement of this building."

He made his way to the desk and took out a piece of paper from one of the drawers along with a pencil. As Keiichi began writing something on the paper his clothing began to morph and change, his black scales remaking his attire to match the idea he had in his mind. By the time Keiichi finished writing the note his clothing had completely changed, matching that of the black clad members of the Rigel Order right down to the mask. Let's face it, Keiichi was never the best at doing what a ninja should actually do, being sneaky, so by wearing clothing belonging to the enemy he could be spotted and pass of as a spy or a scout trying to check the place out.
Keiichi moved closer to Asuka and handed her the note, before turning away from her and toward the window.

"I'll be there, if you need a place to hide then that's a place only my sister and I know about. Have fun, Black Widow!"

And with that, he jumped out the window.

Meanwhile in a nearby room, Shou's eyes slowly opened after he began feeling a weight on his lap. At first his vision was blurry and the darkness that enveloped the room made it hard to tell who it was but eventually he saw the green haired woman straddling him with her arms wrapped around his neck and a sly smile on her lips.

"What do you want?"

He asked, realizing who it was and immediately forcing himself to resist the male impulse to react to the fact that an extremely attractive woman was sitting on top of him. It wasn't the first time that Seiteki had thrown herself like that onto Shou but each and every single time he either ignored or outright refused her advances, in part out of respect for Keiichi and in part due to him knowing just how much of a nutcase she really was.

"Boooohhh, is that any way to greet your dear childhood friend?"

Ignoring her words, Shou's hands moved to her bottom and lifted her up as he stood up. For a moment Seiteki smiled widely at him, expecting him to finally take action but when he dropped her on the couch he had been sitting on and moved to the desk in front of it, she frowned and crossed both her arms and legs in protest.

"Did you go see your brother?"

He asked as he began his search for a cup of coffee and soon finding a full mug he had filled before dozing off.

"Of course, though I left him with that Black Widow woman...I like her."

Seiteki's words made Shou stop midway through shugging the whole cup in one go and looked back at her while frowning.

"What, alone?"

She merely nodded and immediately changed the subject.

"So, I heard there's a few people looking to...replace my dear brother. Mind elaborating, Shou-chan?"
