The Aohoshi, or "blue star" clan originated from parts not entirely known, or much rather not remembered. The brunt of their earliest history is obscured by typical myth and legend. This mythology built the base of the deep religion and overall worldview that surrounds Aohoshi culture. An ancient haiku is typically used to begin teaching the origins of the Aohoshi, as well as their culture in general.
Blue flows through the cold
It bursts forth from the East sky
Children find the sun
This poem is the most basic explanation of the mythological origins, how the Aohoshi were born of a rain cloud, blessed by The Three that they carried from the cold regions of what is assumed to actually be the Northeast toward the sun soaked lands of Wind country in the Southwest.
These Three god like beings are key figures in Aohoshi culture as far as structure, religious sects, and even associated bloodlines. The Three, god like sisters are named and explained as follows;
美 - Bi, Bicorro - The Sister of Beauty. She was so beautiful, that she was able to tempt the light of the sun to be her own. She is described in dramatic mythology as being envious of her sister Ginorro's natural intelligence.
和平 - Waei, Waeitonno - The Sister of Peace. She was so well conditioned that no one was her equal in physical combat. She is described in mythology as being the proverbial referee keeping her sisters from killing one another.
義 - Gi, Ginorro - The Sister of Justice. She was so learned in the ways of law, the very laws of nature are marked by her pen strokes. She is described to be incredibly jealous of her sister, Bicorro and her natural beauty.
These three deities became the names of the three overarching families of the Aohoshi. These families then spread as the clan grew, and now the three families are full sized tribes. Together, they prospered for a time within the land of Wind. Time of war within the nation, time and time again tested the bonds between the Aohoshi tribes until the greatest war drove them apart.
A prophecy was spoken of secretly among all three tribes that one would be born of the Waeitonno with blue eyes brown hair and natural knowledge of the law and sword. This one person would eventually bring peace between the children of The Three, and bring harmony and honor once more to the Aohoshi.
Kekkei Genkai//Bloodline of the Clan:
There are three distinctive bloodlines within the Aohoshi, associated with the three distinct tribes. The actual bloodlines are female dominant, carried down by the women of each tribe.
Those born of the Bicorro tribe are born with blue eyes, and a natural affinity to using the Light element.
Those born of the Waeitonno are born with red hair, and natural physical ability, or taijutsu specific ability.
Those born of the Ginorro are born with black hair, and are naturally gifted in the area of sealing arts, Fuuinjutsu.
- Population :: Class A
- Nature//Values :: Values of the Aohoshi typically shape to the associated sect and tribe one in particular adheres to. Those of the Bicorro value beauty above all other things, making them more nature lovers as well as vain minded of the clan. Those of the Waeitonno are geared toward carrying out war, yet suppress themselves with devotion to mediation techniques. And those of the Ginorro for the most part are highly intellectual, being the deep thinking sect of the clan.
