White Demon and Red Guardian [Oddric]

Half a month passed since the incidents are Erin's mansion, Muryuu and Ninoya had been traveling for seven days already, making the trip from the country covered in snow to the mountainous lands of lightning.
When Ninoya told him everything that had happened while he was unconscious Muryuu was angry, angry at her for trusting Ryuuchi so much even if he was a supposed fragment of his father, angry at Ryuuchi for taking over his body and doing with it as he wished, angry at Erin for planning to backstab them from the start but most of all, he was angry at himself for being so weak he could neither protect Ninoya or himself. Though he didn't like the idea of Ryuuchi's plan, or rather the one calling himself Tatsuo, there was at least one thing he could agree on, they needed help and the only person he knew and could trust was her, his big sister.

He had spent a few days tracking down his sister's location. Maya was a tough target to pinpoint, her dragon abilities allowed her to travel quickly and she rarely stayed in a single place for long. His sister had her own agenda, though he knew that everything she did was in order to help their father. Maya was always different, she was daddy's little girl to the core because while he treated his other children barely above his own soldiers, Maya had been a special case. Raised apart from the others, apart from the madness and with the unique ability to soothe the evil insanity within their father, she was brought up loved and spoiled. The firstborn, the eldest child and the one closest to him in terms of natural born ability, a monster that not even his older brother dared to fight straight on. She would be an invaluable ally, regardless of what Tatsuo was planning.

Thanks to her irregular patterns, Muryuu knew that unless she wanted to find him there would be only one way to find her, her mother. After the fall of Kumogakure at the hands of the Onigami, Maya's mother Kawate Hitomi fled into a remote and quiet village in the countryside. Maya still visited her mother regularly so finding her was only a matter of finding Hitomi and waiting.

It was the seventh night since they set out, they weren't far from Hitomi's place, Muryuu predicted that they would reach it within a day but traveling at night was unwise. Rest was necessary for they were in samurai country, the Onigami still controlled the area and with the recent ban on anything ninja related they would have to be doubly careful not to be discovered.
Muryuu sat down next to the fire, his hand turning black as the night sky as he shuffled the burning wood inside the flames without getting hurt, being part dragon had its perks sometimes. Honestly he didn't need the fire to stay warm, he body was already hotter than any human being, it was a another side-effect of his heritage but after traveling with Ninoya he had grown used to having the flames around.

"I'm sorry I got you involved in this mess."

Muryuu had calmed down since the incident, he had not been himself ever since the fight with Bofoy and what happened afterward but his mind hand calmed down since then, his aggressive side had thankfully subsided. He had been thinking for days about how to say those words to Ninoya, how he should apologize to her for dragging her into a situation she had nothing to do about. Sure she was a "Dragon Hunter" but his father was a much different prey than that young red dragon that had taken down together. A trip to kill a beast turned into a quest to take down a devil...and he still believed that it as his fault for involving her in it all.

Two weeks had passed since everything that had happened at Erin's mansion. Well, sort of Erin's mansion. The archer had suggested the idea that they utilize the mansion as much as they could. It seemed like a good base of operations once they got a few more people to join their party.

The first week Ninoya spent in her home. It was, of course, difficult. Upon first seeing her own mother, she could see nothing but a stranger. She had no memories, only holes and replacements in her mind from what Tatsuo had erased. Ninoya did not blame Tatsuo, per say. His behavior and morals changed quickly. He was becoming his own person. Most of her anger was directed toward Ryuuchi. That's not to say that she had completely forgiven the Ryuuchi fragment. Ninoya had not told her parents about the events that transpired. In fact, when it came time to leave again with Muryuu, she told the Yuki council and her family that she was off to track down a pack of dragons that she had caught wind of. Given her recent success, it was an understandable request. Plus, she wasn't exactly lying.

"Huh?" Ninoya, sitting on a severed trunk by the fire, looked over to Muryuu as he apologized. She had thought she misheard him at first. A look on his face said otherwise. "A few weeks late for that, aren't you?" She chuckled. By this point she had made peace with it. Well, "peace" might not have been the most appropriate term. This was her battle as much as it was Muryuu's.

"Don't worry about it." Ninoya's eyes shifted from Muryuu and to the contraption she had made. Several skinned rabbits were tied against a stick raised by other rocks and sticks in a simple make-shift cooking spit. The fire was cooking them quite well. "I wanted to hunt dragons, right? This is just one step above that. Beside, it's not like you knowingly put me in Ryuuchi's path." Their fight with the adolescent dragon had garnered his attention. Had Ninoya been alone, the outcome might have been the same.

Ninoya was tossing a couple excuses Muryuu's way. Sure, she didn't want him blaming himself, but this was a family matter and Ninoya had found herself caught in the crossfire. She had been shot and now she had a gun, too. There was no point in Muryuu feeling guilty. "I think they're done."

He never intended on getting her involved in his family affairs however he had agreed to help her kill the young dragon because its location was close to where his father had
been seen last. He never would have expected that his father would witness them fighting the dragon and would have attempted to take them with him, only to be saved by a foreign dragon slayer and his powerful wife. But it didn't seem like their case was a unique one, rumors had started to appear everywhere which involved a man who would bestow people with the power of dragons should they manage to kill one. Considering his father's lack of memories it was likely that the simple act of killing the dragon acted as the trigger for his interest in them...and perhaps this power of the dragons had something to do with the man called Taichi, who killed Bofoy and seemed to be working for his father.

Regardless, he wordlessly reached for one of the cooked rabbits and began eating it, his natural born fangs crushing the small mammal's body with ease, allowing him to eat even the bones without even putting any thought into it.

"I'll tell you this though. Maya, my eldest sister, is nothing like my father or siblings...or me. She's a good person, though she's easily angered."

Maya was the easiest target of the family to go after in their mission to gather the black dragon's offspring, her good nature and eagerness to help her father return to the kind daddy she had growing up meant that she'd likely volunteer to help before he'd even be able to ask for the help. But there was one major problem with recruiting her help, she didn't want to kill Ryuuchi as far as he was aware, she had been the only one to have seen another side of him, a kinder and softer side of the monster people seem to know now. Maya was, for a lack of a better word, a complete daddy's girl until fairly recently and that nature still lingered even after all the tragedy she had been put through in recent years.

"We can't tell her we're aiming to kill Ryuuchi...she'll kill us instead."

And honestly, Maya was the last person he wanted to piss off. Erin was a scary woman that beat him in a single strike, Tatsuo was an overwhelming force of his own but Maya was a monster from birth. Muryuu inherited his father's Kirinketsu blood the strongest, Seiteki inherited his special sight and genjutsu ability, Keiichi inherited an advanced version of his demon but Maya...she was the firstborn, the oldest and the owner of all these abilities, not to mention a woman trained by Ryuuchi himself. The last time they fought, over a petty argument, she used nothing but her taijutsu which was her weakest discipline and yet still managed fight him to a standstill.

Not quite as ruthlessly as Muryuu, Ninoya also began to consume the meal she had prepared. However, she ate it just as absentmindedly. As an active Snow Country shinobi, Ninoya had many years of wilderness survival under her belt. She wouldn't consider herself a huntress if she couldn't hunt, cook and eat a damn rabbit.

Ninoya laughed after Muryuu described his sister. "Easily angered, huh? Is that why we've been tagging along together so long? Do I remind you of your sister?" Ninoya knew she was a fiery girl, she may have been stubborn but she certainly wasn't oblivious. The way Muryuu talked about her, she seemed to be his favorite of his relatives. Hell, she had never heard Muryuu describe someone as 'good'.

"Wow." The archer added quickly. "Commitment issues." The duo hadn't talked much about Ryuuchi during their trek, but Ninoya knew enough. And it was in this moment that a thought sprung to her head. Something she hadn't considered.

"Well, what if we don't kill him?" Ninoya asked, mouth partially filled with rabbit. "Believe me, taking Ryuuchi down is high on my list of things to do. But, look at what happened to Tasuo. He's more morally sound than Ryuuchi, and all he is is a hacked off slice of Ryuuchi's soul. I'm not saying that we could sit down and have a chat with the guy to put him back on the sanity track, but there must be more options than killing him. Regardless of how satisfying of an option that may be." Surely Muryuu had given it some thought. Although, after all Ryuuchi had done, the fact that he was Muryuu's father probably didn't mean much anymore. "It doesn't have to plan A, but I think we should consider it." Even though this was the biggest hunt of her life, there was more to it than that. Even if on the surface it seemed a black-and-white case of the good guys taking down the villain.

Muryuu laughed at first, he found her comment about his sister and Ninoya having similar tempers to be quite funny and in a way quite true. He hadn't really realized it before but his sister and Ninoya did have similar hair triggers, then again that was likely one of the reasons why he liked Ninoya in the first place. That thought made him zone out, aside from his sister, Ninoya was really the only person he trusted, the only person he believed he could even call a friend...then again he didn't really know what a friend was since he was pretty much either alone or surrounded by people he hated his entire childhood. Older brother and sister that taunted and bullied him, a twin sister that obsessed and stalked him, a mother that viewed them as little more than annoyances and a father that...

Then she mentioned not killing him, that he could maybe be changed like what happened with Tatsuo. He paused, picking his words carefully.

"He wasn't always like this...rather, there was a time when he wasn't completely evil. A couple of years ago there was a revolt amongst his minions, something odd happened to his favorite slave which allowed her to break free of his control and she caught him off-guard, in the end he was imprisoned and tortured for over a year and he lost his demon in the process...the source of his evil and insanity, they say."

There was a little more to the story than he told her, mostly since he figured it to be unimportant. The woman, Chiyoko, had the ability to manipulate souls which she taught to him, unwillingly of course, and once she became pregnant with his children the seal that enslaved her broke and she eventually stroke back, tearing Ryuuchi's soul apart and severely weakening him. During his imprisonment she took over his army, holding a large portion of his soul while tearing what remained in him apart little by little, eventually even his demon left him, choosing her as the new host.

"But that woman made a mistake, she involved my sister in one of her torture sessions and he snapped, even severely weakened he decimated part of the army and made his escape. He was taken in by Raika, someone he knew when he was younger and according to her he was genuinely sane, he didn't become a saint but he wasn't the evil bastard that he is now. He and Raika lived together for a while but then something happened, we don't know what and he lost it, erased his memories and left...only to become what you and I know now."

Muryuu didn't know Raika very well personally, but the way she spoke when they met and from what Maya told him, they seemed to have had a real loving relationship when he was sane, sometimes Muryuu wondered what would have happened if he had seen or met him like that. But that was the past, one that's over and done with.

"Even if we somehow change him back...there's no insurance that he won't go back to being evil for some odd reason. Plus...he needs to pay for what he's done, Raika and Maya were too lenient on him because he looked like he had reformed himself, that he repented his actions but that's not enough! All the people he wronged, played with, tortured, broken and killed...he deserves to die."

Muryuu didn't realize it himself until the last word left his lips, but had he stood up and his fists were clenched so hard that it crushed the food in his hand. He wasn't talking out of some righteous duty, he truly believed he needed to pay for his crimes but the crimes that weighed more on his mind, were the ones that involved him.

Ninoya took the opportunity while Muryuu spoke to take another bite of her rabbit. When she realized that was more to the tale, Ninoya had enough time to finish her rabbit and get started on a second one. Being able to cook and eat what she herself had prepared felt quite satisfying. She hadn't told her parents that, but their meals never filled her with that total satisfaction. Well... she was pretty sure she had never told her mother, at least.

"Maybe he does deserve to die." She said, finishing off another bite of her catch. "The way things sound though, you're missing a few pieces of the story. Something happened to him, probably against his will." Of course, Ninoya was still royally pissed at the guy. Muryuu had a lot more beef with the guy, more than Ninoya could probably understand, but she was willing to push things aside and figure out the truth before stabbing him in the heart. "Or maybe it really is just him. Maybe there's really no saving him." Ninoya shrugged. "I think we should try, though." If things didn't turn their way, she wouldn't oppose to gutting the bastard. Lord knows he already caused enough harm.

"This Raika girl sounds like someone else we should talk to." Her green eyes fell to the half-eaten rabbit she was dying to finish off. "She was with Ryuuchi before his change. I wonder if she knows anything she hasn't told you. Sounds like she's our best bet for finding out anything we can about what caused him to lose his sanity."

"If Raika-san knew anything, she'd have likely told my sister already..."

It was a logical deduction, from what little he knew about Raika, he was well aware that she was amongst the elite ninja of former Kumogakure, thus she was likely quite intelligent or at least enough to realize that Maya would be her biggest and probably only ally in getting Ryuuchi's mind back in order. It was unlikely that she would have withheld any information from Maya so they could just as easily ask his sister when they finally find her.

"That Raika chick looked hot in your memories...gotta say, props to Ryuuchi for nailing that!"

The voice came from just next to Ninoya, right where Erin was sitting. Muryuu hadn't even noticed Erin's, or rather Tatsuo's, arrival yet he seemed to so casually be eating an apple right next to Ninoya and participating in the conversation as if he'd been there the whole time.
Erin's body looked much different than half a month prior, her short brown hair had grown slightly longer and dyed white, her pupils had completely become blood red and she had a piercing on top of the left ear with a small chain that linked to a piercing on the earlobe. Tatsuo also seemed to have replaced her armor and regal clothing with a formfitting sleeveless black shirt, fingerless black and red gauntlets, baggy dark red shorts that went just past the knees and had several pockets on each leg and black steel-tipped boots. Even the fine and noble looking sword had been replaced with a set of chains wrapped around the right arm and torso, it was actually wonder how Tatsuo could sneak around without having the chains give him away. All in all, Erin looked nothing like what Muryuu remembered from a couple of weeks prior and was clearly wearing something she'd never pick out for herself.

"You...wait...what the hell are you..."

Muryuu immediately got into a battle stance, his arms quickly turning black in preparation for what could come next. His reaction wasn't just from the surprise, he still didn't trust Tatsuo in the slightest thus he was always ready for the bastard to attack them for any reason. Tatsuo on the other hand just waved him off with the apple in his hand and grinned.

"Don't get your panties in a wad, kid. Also...you no like? I think the new styles makes me look at least 70% hotter AND cooler! Wouldn't you agree my dear Ninoya?"

Setting down the partial rabbit skeleton against the ground, Ninoya leaned forward with her elbows on her knees. "So maybe your sister already knows. All we have to do is persuade her to help us." The archer shrugged. She was being optimistic about the whole ordeal, she really didn't know much about any of the different characters that played a part in Muryuu's complicated life. It was just as likely that his sister knew but simply didn't care or didn't want to act.

Jumping, Ninoya scooted from Tatsuo. She was a moment away from attacking the stranger, but the light of the campfire made it obvious who it was. The man whom had possessed Erin's vessel for the time being... as far as Ninoya knew anyway.

"Geez." Ninoya scoffed, her blue eyes falling to the apple before truly noticing the possessed woman's change in appearance. More than just a change of armor and some piercings, Erin's body had been morphed. White eye, redder eyes, the skin a little different too.

"Muryuu, come on." She glared at Muryuu as he went into a battle stance. "You can't be doing this every time we run into he-- him." Coughing, she quickly corrected her pronoun mishap.

For as much as Ninoya liked Muryuu, he certainly had issues. Ninoya wasn't exactly the poster child for calm behavior, but Muryuu had some deep rooted violent tendencies. She never talked to him about it, but she was more than aware they were in there. Ninoya felt like she had to pull Muryuu back now and again, to make sure he didn't explode.

Rolling her eyes at Tatsuo's comment, Ninoya moved away from the topic. She was hoping Tatsuo wouldn't be as perverted as time progressed. Obviously not. "What's with the physical changes. And I don't mean the... metal rings." Ninoya wiggled her own ear for emphasis on the piercings that Tatsuo had put in. "Are you harming Erin's body by possessing her? When you remove yourself from her, is she going to be okay? It almost looks like you're infecting her. What with the red eyes and white hair and all." Ninoya didn't know if the hair was merely dyed or not, but the red pupils were a bit concerning. For all Ninoya knew, Erin was suffering inside. "Because you know I won't stand for that." Tatsuo knew, specifically. He had been in Ninoya's mind, in turn infecting him in a sense, but he knew a lot about what made Ninoya tick. The archer hoped he would also feel just as bad about harming Erin's body if that were the case.

"Oh for the love of..." said Tatsuo in an exasperated tone. Though in some way it might have been the truth, it was actually quite hurtful to be treated by them like he was some kind of parasite.

"This, hair dye...it'll come off." he said while reaching for a few strands of hair and immediately taking a bite out of the apple in his hand "And some say the eyes are the mirror to the soul. Thus it makes sense that the soul in control produces different colored eyes, it happens all the time in beings with more than one soul." his explanation was made in part with a cheek full of apple and as he spoke he was reminded once again how little the two kids knew about matters dealing with the soul.

It was no lie, a change in eye color is often one of the most obvious giveaways that the one in control of the body isn't the original host. It's often found in cases of bestial spirits being locked inside a person's body, though often being reserved to more aggressive cases. When another, often much more powerful spirit inhabits another's body their soul's energy is the one that affects things such as chakra and life-force, this produces a radical change in the body's appearance, with the eyes often being the first to change. This does not happen in every case of possession, when a spirit collaborates with the host spirit, therefore not performing an aggressive take-over, their spirits tend to work together in the creating of energy.
Ryuuchi was a clear example of every possible case throughout his life. With a demon sealed away inside his body using an incomplete sealing method, his natural blue eyes started turning golden as the demonic spirit's. Through the first "acceptance" of the demon within himself his eyes became neither his nor of the demon's but a completely different one. As the years went by and the insanity from the demon affected him more and more, his soul began to split, creating a form of split personality and each time one of these fragments of a soul gained control of the host body the eye color changed. When the demon destroyed all but two of the fragments, the red returned but a pact was made and control of the body was shared. Unlike the peaceful merge of energy the result was an eye of each color as the two souls attempted to cooperate but ended up clashing. Finally when the demon was ripped from him the golden eyes were no more, yet the corruption remained, thus the soul retained the red eyes it had for so long.
Though not an exact science at all, since more matters dealing with the soul are obscure at best, there is a pattern that those who have dealt with souls manage to catch.

"She'll be fine, don't worry." a straight up lie from someone quite adept at telling them, though possibly not with malicious intent. Erin was no more, a soul absorbed by his own in the most hostile take-over possible, but he knew full well that telling Ninoya that would only lead to problems that could be avoided with a little white lie.

The apple made its way to the campfire as he stood up, there were other matters to attend to.

"Are you going to sit here all night and argue about how my new look is oh so awful for Erin or can I give you the hand you definitely need right now." he spoke while unraveling the chains around his limbs and letting them fall to the ground "Because there's a couple of rats we should be dealing with first."

His movements were swift and incredibly precise, as if he had been using chains as a weapon since he was a toddler. The chain swung around the campsite, passing mere inches away from Ninoya's face and right above Muryuu's head to finally stop on some trees above them. Tatsuo's grip on the chains as loose and delicate but at no time did it look like he was about to lose them or the control he had over them. His legs suddenly bent and he readied himself for a high jump but as he was about to do so, a large ball of flames crashed from the trees, along the chain and finally to where he stood, creating a loud and earthshaking explosion.

Smoke and dust cleared quickly thanks to Tatsuo's chains. Not only was he safe and sound but so were Muryuu, Ninoya and the whole campsite as several long chains swirled around the small area at a furious speed for a few moments, before slowly loosing speed and decreasing in size. The chain that had caught onto something in the trees was still intact and in perfect shape, but unlike before his grip was suddenly tighter as he pulled on them while spinning around in place.

The result was quite surprising, instead of a hardened and fierce assassin, a young girl with long red hair came crashing down, hitting the ground with a loud thud as the chains around her leg brought her out of her hiding spot. But she was not out, the next moment her hands reached for something behind her back and drew a curved knife with a black blade, not unlike Muryuu's own sword and easily sliced the chain, releasing her foot. The young girl got to her feet the next moment, immediately getting into a combat stance similar to Muryuu's.

"Ninoya, meet Yuuko's lovely twin sister, Aiko." he said in a mocking tone as Muryuu stood next to him with a stunned look on his face.

The lightning archer raised an eyebrow at Tatsuo's statement, 'beings with more than one soul'. She was well aware that Erin was being possessed by Tatsuo and there was more than one soul in her body, but the way Tatsuo said it made her a bit uneasy. He said it so... matter-of-factually. "All the time?" She questioned, leaning into her words a bit. "How many people or... things out there have more than one soul?" It seemed like a loaded question, but she had to ask.

A sigh came from the archer's mouth, briefly eying the partially eaten rabbit that she had put down. "As much as I'd like to completely trust you and not worry, I can't. But I'll take your word for it for now." The fiery haired girl looked back to Tatsuo. Ninoya wasn't an idiot, she had a feeling there was some... additional reasoning for Tatsuo doing what he was doing. Or at the very least some things he was keeping from Ninoya. While he indeed had been in Ninoya, and she was convinced it changed him, she also felt the depth of Tatsuo's darkness while he was in her. It was a river than had run both ways.

Ninoya moved away from the chains as it nearly struck her. There was a heightened bit of awareness as Tatsuo seemingly readied himself for a fight. Ninoya did not fear for her own safety, she couldn't imagine why the man would feel the need to get into a brawl with them, but it was unsettling and something had to be up. And in a manner of speaking, something certainly was up.

"Whoa!" The archer involuntarily shouted. In a mere moment the young woman was on her feet with her bow drawn and arrow loaded, sparkig already ensuing through her arms and charging the weapon. If not for Tatsuo clearly removing the visual disturbance with his chains, Ninoya would have shot into the tree at the thing trying to assault them. He seemed to have control over the situation. Instead, she tracked the falling girl with her weapon, aimed at the girl as she waited for Tatsuo or Muryuu to say something.

"Muryuu?" Ninoya asked, green eyes bouncing to the man as she looked to him after the girl tumbled to the earth. Shock wasn't a familiar look on the man's face. It was usually anger or brooding, even when faced with serious situations such as Ryuuchi or the crazed butler.

Ninoya lowered the bow, her eyes moving from one person to the next as she analyzed the situation. Yuuko. It was odd hearing it every time someone uttered it. He never explained it in detail, but it was Muryuu's actual birth name. As far as Ninoya pieced together, anyway. "Well..." It was a bit eerie, how physically similar the two appeared. "I might have been able to figure that one out myself." She cleared her throat, bow by her side now as the electricity from her arrow discharged into her own body. "Uh... Muryuu?" She said again, expecting him to say something, do something. She couldn't imagine what the dumbstruck look was for. Perhaps that he hadn't even noticed her stalking him.

Re: White Demon and Red Guardian [Oddric]

The last person he ever expected to see stood right before him, her straight long red hair flowing in the wind as time seemed to slow to a screeching halt. It had been so long since they last seen eachother and despite everything they had gone through, he felt an odd comfort in seeing her again, looking all grown up, still alive and well. But at the same time he felt a great dread at her presence, it was like his past was returning more and more. Muryuu had left his past behind, Yuuko was dead and he intended on keeping him dead, his goal was always to start a new life, to start fresh and away from his family. Sadly life was a cruel child, playing with her little toys...in such a short time his past was starting to find him again, digging Yuuko out of the grave no matter how much he struggled to stay in.

"Aiko, how..." words finally left his mouth after just staring at his fraternal twin sister for longer than he realized, his jaw remaining fully opened until then.

"How?" Aiko spoke with a hint of hostility in her voice as her face contorted in anger "How long did I cry after seeing you die? How long did I just sit by your grave thinking of how I should kill those two? How many times did I blame myself for not protecting you like always?" her arms dropped as if they had weights attached to them, her back hunching slightly forward while the head tilted slightly to the side.

Big empty red eyes stared back into his and the next moment shifted to Tatsuo who still had his chains at the ready. Her left hand reached for a kunai on her belt and immediately launched it toward Tatsuo and his snaking chains. Readying himself to block the flying knife, Tatsuo twisted the chains in his hand, making one of them move up in the perfect position to stop the speeding blade. What Tatsuo did not expect was her next move, slamming her hand on the ground and suddenly she was gone from where she stood and was instantly face to face with Tatsuo, a kunai stuck to the ground having taken her place.

"How many times was I beaten down by them, trying to avenge you?" she shouted in anger as her black blade sunk deep into Tatsuo's chest, perfectly positioned to pierce clean through the heart "How long did I wander around not knowing what to do?" her leg suddenly moved to trip Tatsuo, making him drop to the ground with the blade still stuck in his chest "How long did I contemplate just killing myself and be done with the pain?"

Another two kunai made their way to her hand as drew the blade from Tatsuo's body and they were immediately shot toward Muryuu and Ninoya, one for each of them. Like before her hand touched the ground and her place was traded with the kunai making it's way to Muryuu, who in turn was completely frozen and unable to move. But almost as if a diversion her position was switched once again, but this time with the kunai inching toward Ninoya.

"How did I find out that the one person I loved the most in this world was still alive?" another kunai in the hand, thrown right above Ninoya's head and a split second after it left her fingers, the immediately switch places...twice. The first switch was a diversion, the second was a switch to right back where she was, in front of Ninoya "How much did it hurt when I found out you were living a secret life, HIDDEN FROM ME!?"

Her black blade made it's way toward Ninoya, complete with an impressive amount of intent to kill, one thing Aiko had always been good at was killing. That first switch was simple, her technique being unknown. Her second and third switches were to fool the target that had recently learned of her technique into thinking her target was her brother. Her fourth and fifth switches were diversions to trick the real target and create an opening. A combo that had earned her plenty of kills in the past.
But the blade was stopped, not by another blade but by Muryuu's bare hands, gripping it tightly and preventing his sister from getting even close to killing Ninoya.

"Stop. Not her." he said while looking her straight in the eyes, red meeting red until she vanished, appearing right next to the downed Tatsuo and leaving a kunai Muryuu's hand.

"Not her..." she repeated in a whisper, her red eyes focused on the woman next to her brother.

Muryuu finally spoke. It was hardly what Ninoya was expecting to hear, but it was something. Her attention immediately went to the young woman with the bright red hair. Far more saturated than Ninoya's own fiery head.

The archer cringed as Aiko began to yell. Her anger and temper reminded Ninoya bit of Muryuu. She wondered to what extent were the twins similar. The words she spoke as she yelled at her brother seemed to be well deserved. Muryuu hadn't spoke much of his past, so everything Aiko was saying was news to Ninoya. What else hadn't he told Ninoya?

"Hey! Drop it!" Ninoya jumped back to her offensive position as she rose her bow to Aiko. Tatsuo may not have been the most trusted ally in Muryuu and Ninoya's party against Ryuuchi, but his death would put a damper in their plans. "Don't!" Ninoya screamed again, letting electricity surge through the arrow.

Between the switching and flickering of Aiko's speed and... what seemed to be teleportation, Ninoya let her bow and arrow drop to the ground as she kept her hands free and surged her limbs with raiton chakra. An arrow didn't seem like it would do the trick.

Ninoya had positioned herself to combat Aiko as she came close, flinching as Muryuu intercepted Aiko and Ninoya's skin. Her green eyes flicking to Aiko who had again switched, Tatsuo's life seemingly in danger.

"All right, enough!" Ninoya shouted, meeting Aiko's gaze as she took a step toward her position. "If you kill, I will rain down on you!" She threatened, briefly turned her head to Muryuu. "Calm your damn sister!" Despite his gripes with Tatsuo, Muryuu had to know they needed him alive. "If you want our plan to work, calm her!" With all her shouting, Ninoya certainly didn't seem like the best activist for peace.
