Description: Being born in the Ongaku no Tamashī gives the member the ability to use music instead of hand signs to activate jutsu. This can be produced through singing or through playing instruments. If a jutsu has a specific number of hand signs, user must use that many notes. This is considered more of an ability, and is always active.

Description: This jutsu is used to make the opponent see and think that the user has made clones of themselves, when in reality all they’ve done is play/sing musical notes. Once the opponent hears the tune, they view clones being created. Number of “clones” depends on the amount of notes played/sung. In addition, when the opponent attacks the “clones”, they disappear, but can reappear in another place, causing further distraction and confusion. Number of times they can reappear is the number of “clones” made, but the number is shared between them all (IE: Five “clones” are “made”, opponent attacks one, it reappears. Now, all five “clones” are limited to four reappearances.). D-Rank are limited to 3 notes. C-Rank: 5 Notes; B-Rank: 7 Notes; A-Rank: 10 Notes; S-Rank: 15 Notes.

Description: User must sing/play at least five notes for this jutsu to work. When all notes are sung/played, select persons will have the tune echo inside their head for the same number of posts as the number of notes played/sung, provided the opponent hears the original tune. This can cause confusion, irritation, or even pain if used right. Other jutsu are often combined with this jutsu to make them seem more realistic or for a distraction. Also, if user plays/sings notes for other jutsu along with this one, all the notes are involved with this jutsu, not just the ones used to activate this jutsu. D-Rank are limited to 10 notes. C-Rank: 15 Notes; B-Rank: 20 Notes; A-Rank: 30 Notes; S-Rank: 50 Notes.

Description: This jutsu, when used, gives the illusion that the user has moved from one spot to another, while in reality, the user is still in the same position. At D-Rank, user can only make it appear as if they have moved 5-10ft, and if they are touched while using this technique, the illusion fails. They also cannot move, or else the jutsu will be broken. At C-Rank, even if the user is struck, the illusion continues, and the opponent’s senses are made to think that they have struck nothing but air. They may move up to 10ft from their original location before the jutsu breaks. At B-Rank, user can make themselves appear to have disappeared completely, essentially hiding the user. There is no limit to movement at this rank. User must sing/play a minimum of seven notes to use this jutsu.

Description: This jutsu works much the same as its weaker version, but this is slightly different in a few small, but very important ways. First off, the user does not stop playing/singing until their body starts to tire, which is when this jutsu starts to wear off. But, as long as it’s the user is playing/singing, the opponent hears every note echoing inside their head, and the constant noise starts cause damage to the brain. At C-Rank, the user can only keep this up for 2 posts, and must focus wholly on this jutsu, none other. At B-Rank the user can keep this up for 4 posts, while also using notes to use up to one other jutsu. At this level, if the jutsu is not interrupted before the four posts, the foe is afflicted with temporary deafness and movement impairment for 2 posts. At A-Rank, the user can keep this jutsu going for 6 posts, while using up to 2 other jutsus. At this rank, it functions similar to the previous, but if not interrupted before reaching six posts, the foe will also suffer from hallucinogenic visions for 2 posts. At S-Rank, user can keep this jutsu going for 10 posts, while using up to 3 other jutsus. At this rank, it functions similar to the previous, but if not interrupted after ten posts, the foe will have this tune permanently ingrained into their subconscious. They will suffer from temporary insanity for 2 posts, and then fall unconscious to the ground. When they recover, they will seem perfectly fine, but if they ever hear the tune again, the results will be the same.

Description: Once the opponent hears the song, their mind creates a false lack in stamina, causing their arms to give out and lay limply at their sides. They will then drop anything they were holding, and the opponent’s arms will not respond to them, even though the opponent may know that they are truly not that exhausted. Once entrapped, the user may continue to play notes to increase the duration. Opponent will stay in this condition until released, or until the jutsu wears off.

Description: This jutsu creates a clone out of the notes played/sung by the user. These clones have to use jutsu through means of hand signs, but can use all jutsu the user knows their rank on down. These clones are invisible to the normal eye, except for one can barely see the chakra flowing through them. User can only create 3 of these clones at this rank. At B-Rank, user can make 5, and the clones will now have a mental link with the user, allowing the user to gain and send information or orders. At A-Rank, the user can create up to 7 of these clones, and the chakra system is now invisible, making the clones totally invisible to the normal eye. User can create up to 10 clones at S-Rank. User must play one note per clone created. Anyone who can locate chakra can get a general idea of the clone’s location, and those who can see chakra can see the clones clearly.

Description: When this genjutsu is used, the user appears to transform into someone who is/was important to the opponent, alive or dead, while all else fades into darkness. The cared-for person will relay some kind of message to the opponent, which will then echo within their minds. The opponent will then visualize being surrounded by many figures of the individual, all of them repeating the phrase over and over, while insulting the opponent about something revolving around the comment, the figures spinning around the opponent. The tormenting last for 2 posts, in which afterwards the figures will then stop moving and insulting, then all attack the opponent at once with a jutsu the opponent knows/assumes they can use. The opponent’s body will then trick itself into feeling the effects of said jutsu. User must continue playing/singing until the posts criteria is met; if user is interrupted during this time, of the jutsu itself is interrupted, the effects will end early.

Description: This genjutsu, when heard, tricks the opponent into hearing a drum beat, along with the footsteps in a marching formation coming from behind. When user looks around, the will see an army of 100 shinobi coming at them. All the shinobi will look different, so as to not give the jutsu away right off. Also, all the shinobi will be wearing headbands of the opponent’s village. At first, the shinobi will think they are either passing by on a mission, or are there to help them. Then, the army of shinobi will draw weapons and charge at the opponent. This is used mostly to make the opponent disoriented, or to make them flee, but if the opponent does not flee, they will feel they are being attacked by the army of shinobi, even though nothing is happening. After every shinobi has hit them once, the genjutsu will disperse. The effect of being attacked happens after two posts. User must continue playing/singing until the posts criteria is met; if user is interrupted during this time, of the jutsu itself is interrupted, the effects will end early.

Description: When this jutsu is activated, all the surrounding will change into a place that either the opponent enjoys, remembers, or relaxes them. All that does not count as surrounding disappear from the opponent’s sight, including the user, unless the user of this jutsu decides to show themselves or other things. This is a good jutsu for lowering an opponent’s guard, or for hiding things the user doesn’t want the opponent to see. User must play/sing minimum 7 notes. If the user sings 10 or more, they may manipulate the surrounds to view as they choose.

This genjutsu, however, makes the arms AND legs instantly go limp, making the opponent nearly useless in battle. This causes them to collapse on the spot as well as drop anything they may be carrying. This genjutsu is used for either capturing an opponent who won’t go willingly, or for making a kill much less of a hassle. Once entrapped, the user may continue to play notes to increase the duration. Opponent will stay in this condition until released, or until the jutsu wears off. Requires a minimum of ten notes, cannot be used in conjunction with another when being sang/played. Additional note limits: B: 2; A: 4; S: No limit. Description: This is one of the more gruesome jutsus the Ongaku no Tamashī have at their disposal. Once activated, the user will disappear from the opponent’s site, and all will fade to black, as if the opponent had passed out. Then, the darkness will form into a familiar place of the opponent’s, where they will wake up. Opponent will believe they are walking around, and remembering things from long ago. Then, if the genjutsu isn’t released in 3 posts, the opponent will walk into a barren wasteland. There, they will see someone important to them call out for them desperately for help, the cared-for person being brutally attacked by a person in a black, cloaked hood. They will try to go help them, but will be unable to move, and therefore view the cared-for person be brutally murdered. Then, after said person is dead, they will rush at the attacker out of rage, only to realize that the attacker is much stronger than themselves. They will be knocked down, and when they look up at the cloaked figure, they will look through the darkness of the hood, and see their own face. Then, the fatal blow is given. Opponent will then collapse to the ground. They will not die, but will need serious medical attention, as their mind has all but convinced the body that they have indeed died. This event will be permanently ingrained into their minds, causing them to have occasional nightmares were this event replays. User must play minimum 15 notes to activate this jutsu. User must continue playing/singing until the posts criteria is met; If user is interrupted during this time, or the jutsu itself is interrupted, the effects will end early.

This involves focusing chakra into their instrument and playing notes while thinking about what they wish to communicate. It will appear as if they are just playing music to anyone else but the person they wish to communicate with. This person hears words instead of music. This is more of an ability, and is always able to be used.

There is no limit to how much this jutsu can increase the volume of a single sound, but it can only affect a single sound. Normally, this only requires a small amount of chakra and an amount of concentration, but that’s only if the sound in question has already been made: if the user is attempting to affect a sound that hasn’t been made yet, or cannot apply the necessary amount of concentration, this jutsu may still be used but requires more chakra. Description: This jutsu is essentially a combination of Musical Manipulation: Movement and Musical Manipulation: Ostinado. Once the sound and target have been chosen, the desired sound will locate to the target and begin to float around and around their body. This jutsu is viewed as some sort of stance, as it seems to be a prerequisite for other jutsu. User may spend one D-Rank amount of chakra per round to sustain this effect. This jutsu ends immediately if the upkeep is not paid, but automatically lasts for one round. This jutsu is often chained with others that require this one to become effective, and does not take up away from use limits when done as such.

I just realized I probably should have looked over the jutsu rules, and that I probably broke a bunch of them somewhere somehow.

But, this took a lot of effort to piece together from what I had already made and to try and make it less overpowered.

Regardless, let me know what's good and what's not...and if it's not, please explain why and maybe give some tips on how to make it acceptable.

Pojishon no Ikō-Position Transitioning
- Would have to be removed. As it reads it could be considered a teleportation, and as far as I have heard teleportation has been banned.
However as I have read through what else you have, the same effect could be done with other jutsus, without having to actually move the users body.

Fukusū no Myūjikarupojishoningu-Multiple Musical Positioning & Ongaku Kurōn Gijutsu-Music Clone Technique
- These are essentially the same jutsu, minus the fact that one can uses jutsu and the other can't. So for the sake of ease, could you combine them?
Also leave out the "Invisibility". That would basically make the jutsu A-S rank off the bat, as you are limiting the sight of them to a single restricted way. Even taking that way away, at higher ranks. Just leaves this generally over powered.
As well reduce the amount of clones. Not everyone can be Naruto, and make a group of clones so easily. Remember a lot of people don't use clones because they become more ineffective the more you make.
To make this a gradual increase in clone effectiveness. It would be better to start with clones that are nothing more then illusions for distractions, then as the power of the jutsu increases, then the more abilities the clones have. From having a more physical body, to performing jutsu.

Nise no Ikō-False Transition
Nise Taimingu: Adājo-False Timing: Adagio

-I've thrown all these into one for a reason. Because broken down they are all essentially the same jutsu, just with different effects. So my suggestion would be to do just that, merge them into one jutsu with a gradual rank increase. This will also make it easier to judge.
To be honest I got very bored reading though this list, since the majority of your desriptions are just copy paste with a few changes.

Kantan na Komori-Uta: Ku~Ōtāresuto-Brief Lullaby: Quarter Rest
Kantan na Komori-Uta: Hāfunōtoresuto-Brief Lullaby: Half Note Rest
Kantan na komori-uta: Zen Nōtoresuto-Brief Lullaby: Whole Note Rest
-Just as before these are basically the same. While the last effected the mind, these more effect the body. So just the same they could be combined, a lot easier then the last bunch. What you should add though, is a way to fight back against this jutsu. Cause as it reads, a little ol'genin could come along and subdue a Kage in a matter of moments. So there should be some note made about one can resist it's effects when stronger then the user.

Sakkyoku: De~yuetto-Composing: Duet
-A little more detail should be put at the end, to explain that the opponent has not actually been struck physically by anything. That it is all just in their mind.


Ryokō pojishon no ikō-Traveling Position Transitioning
-Just like before. Teleporation has been banned, but by now you probably already figured that out for this one. I think at least in this effect it would have to be changed. As a bunch of little babies shouldn't be able to do this at all. But rather reserved for the higher level, more expirenced of the Clan.

Ongaku Sōsa: Idō – Musical Manipulation: Movement
-I would remove this one completely. Since really this has no place in what I have read of this clan's abilities so far. It just sounds like you wanted to add something magical to them.

-I have no real problems with this. Expect if a jutsu ispretty much a combination of two other jutsu, then the rank should reflect that. It shouldn't take an equal amount of chakra and concentration to perform two jutsu at once.

The other is a Ninjutsu that actually makes clones, and they do not become invisible until A-Rank. Add to the fact that shinobi are know for having keen perceptions, and most will notice the blockage of wind, flattening of grass, cracks of branches etc. I did tone down the number of clones for each rank, however.

If you could give me an acceptable version of using sound to travel distances, what would it be? Seeing as members of this clan are physically weak, they have low stamina and can likely not walk/run for long distances. Add to the fact that someone might be born without a leg/no legs or an equivalent disability the makes movement difficult, and the idea of traveling by sound at lower ranks begins to 'sound' 'sound'.

As for Reprisal, what I meant is that if a person is limited by how many jutsu they can use a turn, regardless if they have the chakra or not, that this particular jutsu does not take up a slot (IE: Genin can only use 1 Ninjutsu a turn. Reprisal would not take up the 1 per turn.)

While it may not seem like I did. I did in fact read through all of these. Hence why I made the point of saying that the majority were just the same description with a few words changed.

As for that jutsu. The reason why I said it should be removed, isn't because what it could be used for. But rather that it is an impossible feat. Sound at it's base has never been used to "move" something. It can be used to vibrate something. But picking up and object and flawlessly moving it, without the sound shattering it. WOuld never happen in my mind.
If this was a manipulation of wind to wrap and carry something to someone, then I might give it a shot. But not as sound.

Yes. But there is a part in which you say "Fatal Blow". If someone was just glancing over they might assume, that is means you actually struck them.

I have nothing much to say. Other then I am a minimalist. I'd rather have one jutsu that does all this, then two to make it look like I more jutsu then anyone else.

If you say that they have low stamina, then you might want to forfeit this clan all together. Because unless your fights are only going to last a couple minutes, then your clansmen are going to be drained quickly. Playing instruments, and singing for long periods of time can be just as exhausting as any other physical job.

As for transporting. I honestly couldn't give you a single way that doesn't revolve around destroying the body, to do it.

I'm not talking about how many jutsu you can use "per turn". Given that many of us don't really RP that way, and will throw out jutsu left and right if we want.
I'm saying that by your description you are in fact using two jutsu at once. And that using them at the same time, shouldn't be the same difficulty as using them apart. I mean honestly, it's nothing more then just changing from a D to a C.

To be fair, I've seen like nothing here that really shows that this is a clan that is meant to have many members at all that reach higher levels. It's just an influx of genin level jutsu. And to be fair, a genin isn't going to start out know 20 jutsus. They will only really know a handful.

I'm not here to deny your idea for the clan. I'm here to the person that isn't caught up in the excitement of their own idea.
