The Densenbyou Seal [Transfer!]

PostPosted by Takeshi » Thu Dec 10, 2009 12:11 pm

ORIGIN LINK

Character Name: Yakuyougami
Name of Seal: Densenbyou - Infectious Death Seal
Rank: A
Location of the Seal: The Densenbyou is blatantly apparent to any whom lay eyes upon the forehead of the host. The symbol consists of a series of twisted black markings that all come to a definite, sharp point at various, random locations; each pointed inward as if mocking the carrier. The markings that originate from the forehead grow to cover the entire body, mapping the inner chakra respiratory system. The lines are chaotic and corrupted in several locations, often breaking away from one another and sporadic in their basic form.

Preparations

Stage One - The Densenbyou is only satiated by an offering of blood. Upon removing his mask, Yaku will cut along his own hand and smear the resulting liquid over his forehead. The seal will take some time to react in this case, but will otherwise deliver the effects as desired. The offering needs not be of the carrier's blood. If another readily - if not willingly - available source is near-by, Yaku may use that instead of his own. In this case, the seal will activate immediately.

While under the influence of Densebyou, Yaku will go out of his way to utilize the Kegareru Damashii technique and does so rather aggressively. Afterward he will work to simply disable, and perhaps even capture, his opponent(s) and allow for effects to settle in on the infected. Otherwise his behavior is wholly unchanged, though he gives off the feeling of the subject to constant pain, often distracting from abilities that require a great deal of concentration.

Stage Two - Once more, the Densenbyou is only satiated by an offering. There are various ways to go about access level two, but each are woefully more painful than that of level one.

Blood Offering: Again, the Densenbyou may accept an offering of blood. This is not as simple as before, as the carrier must either cover himself in his own blood or that of another. It needs not cover his entire body, but a healthy supply is required; otherwise the seal simply ignores the call and will remained elusive.

Infection Offering: By infecting himself with the Kegareru Damashii and allowing for the second stage to take place, the seal will automatically come into effect. The third stage of the technique will remain at bay for the duration that the seal is active, but upon it's dispersal the effects must be combated immediately, otherwise the results are horrendously destructive. Yaku may also utilize the body of a creature infected with stage two of Kegareru Damashii, drawing the corrupted chakra from their body and using it to appease the seal. This is the preferable method.

Death Offering: This method, as the others, has two means of activation. First, Yaku may stab himself in the heart in an offering to the seal in the form of his own life. This will activate the second level of the seal, though after it's use Yaku dies without question. If already infected with Kegareru Damashii than the resulting becomes subject to stage four of the infection immediately. Second, the seal will easily accept the death of another creature as an offering. There are two manners to this as well. Either Yaku may kill several weak individuals (slaughter a small village), or he may dispatch the life of a more powerful soul (IE; your character, etc.). The seal will immediately activate at this offering and will not require Kegareru Damashii to be active either.

During stage two, Yaku's personality slowly withers (what little he had in the first place) and is replaced by a maniacal, death-obsessed murderer. He no longer specifies whom he kills, merely wishing for death to whomever in his sight. The encounter becomes freakishly violent and he is prone to expending massive amounts of chakra for even simple tasks.

Transformation Process

Stage One - The changes to the body are minimal at this level. The spiraling, sharp pattern simply expands, though this is mostly concealed due to Yakuyougami's otherwise concealed form. The major change is the corrupted chakra, though this will - if kept up long enough - begin to wither Yaku's own skin, giving him the appearance of leprisy.

Stage Two - As opposed to level one, level two of the Densenbyou is frightening to behold. Fortunately, most of the physical changes are concealed beneath the thick layers Yaku uses to conceal his form, but beneath his skin becomes cracked and slowly starts to wither, eating away as his own chakra consumes his body. Eventually, the skin is entirely done away with, exposing the complex networking of nerves and veins that the epidermis once protected. After this point, the smell of burning flesh is withdrawn from the air. His eyes become hallow and black as if the pupils have expanded to over-take the entire eye.

This change has both beneficial and harmful applications. First, if Yaku is somehow able to expose his body to the air, he can feel very subtle vibrations in the word around him and will be able to react with an enhanced awareness to his surroundings. The harmful effects are obvious. He no longer has skin.

Positive Effects on Target

Stage One - Besides the basic speed and strength enhancement, Densenbyou manifests itself in the form of a further corrupted chakra as opposed to the original form of the cursed energy. The color changes to black as usual, but a sickly outline of purple and infests the carrier's entire body as well; feeding off it's essence like a parasite. This new form of energy applies itself to each attack made by the carrier - and even his touch - and upon contact with any material (skin included) it will cause a powerful withering effect akin to an incredibly strong acid. The strength of this ability is determined by the length of contact. Should the impact be brief, the target will only notice a minor irritation and slight infection, where as if the contact lasts for an elongated period of time (IE; a grapple, binding methods, etc.) the skin will wither and die, causing a horrendous amount of pain. Level One, when experienced for the first time, will allow the carrier access to Kegareru Damashii, a patient and devastating technique.

Due to the unnatural and highly unstable form of this chakra techniques that are designed to cut, control, and otherwise manipulate chakra itself are almost impossible to execute against the Densenbyou unless the user possesses a high mastery of chakra control. This energy can not be simply 'absorbed' or deflected easily, and will - in most situations - overpower weaker, normal chakra.

Stage Two - Upon entering Level Two, the Densenbyou has completely immersed itself in the carrier's body and seethes from every inch. At this point, coming within grapple distance of the carrier will result in infection via the corrupted chakra. The major benefit of this level is that the former unstable form of the infectious energy readjusts itself to the carrier and becomes calm, submitting itself to his will and no longer paining him to use. The tenketsu, at this point, have expanded to accompany the infected energy. Along with these affects, the carrier's chakra capacity doubles from it's initial state. If a large amount of chakra has already been expended, than the seal will instead resupply the carrier. Once more, both speed and strength are enhanced to an unnatural level, but these effects pale in comparison to those formerly mentioned.

Negative Effects on User

Stage One - The drawbacks associated with this ability are severe. Upon activating the Densenbyou the host is immediately affected with his own Kegareru Damashii as the choatic nature of the chakra does not care just whom it feeds off of, though the time limits are cut in half due to the constant exposure to a large amount of the corruption. Second, the Tenketsu were not designed to handle something so sporadic in nature. Every time the carrier molds chakra outside of his body they are subject to an intense burning sensation, as the tenketsu must be stretched to account for the new form. With that in mind, the respiratory system is incapable of handling the energy as well and will, for lack of better means, bleed off the excess chakra that it can not control; wasting power and leading to constant buzz of pain for the user. This does have one cool side affect as they carreir's body will be constantly surrounded in the dark color, giving them a sort-of "Chakra Aura". Lastly - upon ending the seal, the carrier is forced to expel the remaining corrupted chakra from his body all at once, leaving him drained until his normal chakra has the time to recover. It is still possible to act, but higher level techniques are impossible to access for at least twelve hours.

Stage Two - The adverse effects of Level Two are permanent. The tenketsu have expanded beyond their normal state and thus, when subject to normal chakra, the carrier will often waste a certain amount with each technique no matter how masterful their control might be. The tenketsu will eventually return to their prior state, though this does take some time. Second, because of the constant radiation of the corruption, Yaku's skin will wither and burn away. Elongated exposure to this level is self-destructive and will permanently destroy the carrier's body in return for the brilliance of power it allows. When the carrier leaves level two, the energy is once again forcibly expelled from their body, though in a very different manner than before. All within five meters of the carrier are immediately exposed to Kegareru Damashii as the corrupted chakra expands in a sudden burst. Yaku is further wounded from this and survival is minimal should he already have sustained various wounds.

Seal Info: This Seal allows for the use of the Kegareru Damashii Technique which can be found on Yakuyougami's technique list here.
