Allow me to be the first to welcome you to our community here are Naruto Creation, commonly abbreviated as "NC" and as such will be referred to by that abbreviation hereinafter. NC began as "Naruto Creation RPG" on September 5 of 2006. It was, originally, a small role-playing group of friends; but, within a few months, it grew to become a major role-playing outlet for many great players. On October 10 of 2009, Naruto Creation RPG became Naruto Creation Pro, also known as "NC" or "Dai-NC". It's community of role-players for the most part remains very active and very strong.

NC is run by Uchiha Sasuke, Tsuneo and Rai. These people do their best, and are efficient in doing so, to bring you the best forum they can. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses as any given person will, but that's obvious and expected... you can't expect someone not to. Each also has their own triggers, but for the most part they're good at walking away and waiting until they're calm before making a response to said trigger.

Now that that's out of the way, let's get down to business. NC is a Naruto RolePlaying Website developed after the popular Shonen "Naruto" by Masashi Kishimoto. This means that we create characters, place them in the Naruto Universe, and role-play them from Genin to Jounin weaving amazing stories as he progress our characters. Our main focus is on having fun role-playing with other players; discussing Anime/Manga, role-playing, and Games; and maintaining a safe PG-13 atmosphere. Generally, we write in third person and role-play in English.

If you haven't already registered with the forum, you can do so by visiting this link. You may notice, as with other websites, hyperlinks will change color in highlight when your mouse is scrolled over them. Registering gives you many benefits, including the ability to post and see the creation area, which is the only area that you need to be a registered member in order to see and look through. After you've completed that step by choosing a username, password and other good stuff, you can proceed to making a character. Right? Wrong.

Everything ever created had a sturdy foundation before it was built upon. NC is no different than this, and our foundation is the rules and behavioral etiquette of the site. You are required to read through these rules before posting anywhere on the site, and after which are dismissed. They rarely change, so you don't have to go back and look at them every day or anything similar to that. Once you're done with that, then you can move on to creating your first character.

The template to creating a character as well as guidelines for doing so can be found in this topic. After you create your character, you can proceed to creating additional things for them such as custom jutsu or custom equipment, or you can dive straight into roleplaying. Custom clans are also allowed, and since no dead clans [save for very special exceptions] are allowed, you can for the most part join most any clan. If you can't just join it, you might have to send a private message to the owner or speaker of the clan, depending on it. For those of you who like special creations such as demons or curse seals, the unique abilities section is the place for you. Please note that while demons can be had from the beginning, curse seals need to be distributed within an actual RP Topic.

NC is very freeform, allowing you to be a Konoha ninja walking around Iwa before you were bored and wandered there. Yet at the same time, it has thousands of internal plots running together in a very fine tuned system run by the head plot.. that doesn't exist. No, NC doesn't really have a site-wide plot that any or all people have to participate within. It's completely freeform; so much so in fact that a commonly used term is "BYOE" which is an acronym for "Bring Your Own Epic" based off of BYOB, Bring your own beer. There are certain people who don't like roleplaying without there being a set plot in motion for the topic [IE; Tsuneo] and there are certain people who don't care and will RP on impulse, playing the character [IE; Ando]. If you send a pm to any given member of the site or, if they have an RP Request topic, drop them a post, you will find out which type of these that they are.

By visiting this link, you can see a map of our entire world with a legend included, clearly labeling where any given village is.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, many people will open their PM boxes for you to drop a message and ask, although doing so in this forum is also acceptable and not unheard of, as it is the questions forum.

Also, for those of you new to roleplaying, I suggest you review another guide meant to ease you into the world of role-playing that can be found here.

This is Ando, aka Kota, signing out.

As the purveyor of the phrase BYOE, I am irked by it's misrepresentation.

And this is like...too detailed. Things like how a hyperlink works?

Also you have the order of creation wrong. It should be clan first, then character, jutsu, equipment, seal.

Edit: Additionally, that's not the map. We don't really have a map, the Kages bicker about what it looks like all the time, but there's definitely not a bird country. Well, in Fei's posts I think but not as a whole board.

This is false. There is actually a Land of Birds in the anime.

He's talking about the site Map, Ama. Not the canon map. None of the Kages can agree on set boundaries or locations, so the continent is simply an amorphous blob of territories.

That's all. :]

Tsueno stated that there was not a Bird Country. There clearly is a canon bird country.

Also most old members recognize the Bird Country. If we didn't, all of our histories would be screw up. :P

I know that it's not just me and Fei who recognize it. >_>

Individually regarding the existence of the Bird Country is fine. It's just not something everyone uses.
